    McBrawl Moderator Application:

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - I am extremely active in game, on the forums, and on the TeamSpeak. I play on McBrawl for numerous hours of the day, and I'm on the TeamSpeak every more than that. I join the TeamSpeak whenever i'm doing almost anything on the computer, and I am always there to help any players who need it. I am on the forums all day, and I have the tapatalk app on my phone. This way, I get an alert whenever I get a notification, or when someone PMs me. I have quite a dedication to McBrawl, and its defiantly the main thing I do.

Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? - I don't keep exact track of my reports, however I believe I have about 6 hacker reports and probably about 10 reports about advertising. When ever I see a player breaking the rules/I feel the slightest bit of suspicion about a player, I will start recording or take a screenshot (It varies on the situation), however it is a bit hard for me to record due to the capabilities of my computer. Luckily, I am purchasing more ram, and recording should not be an issue soon.

How old are you? - I am currently 14 years of age.

What time zone are you in? - I live in the Eastern Standard Timezone of the United States

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I have been playing Minecraft for about 3-4 years now, and I have fallen in love with the game. I know almost about everything you could know about Minecraft (Not in terms of code). Over my many years of playing the game, I have met some very great people, and some not so great ones. I have gotten to the point where I very rarely play single player, and spend pretty much all of my time on Multiplayer.

What is your experience with moderating servers? - I have moderated for many servers. These include the following:

    MinecraftParty (Mod)(http://gyazo.com/cc560e4a10e792632f5e3aa88634d056)
    Sky-Wars.com (Mod+)(http://gyazo.com/e944dc24db53bd311994555d4fca9f73)(No longer running)
    Reality Kits (Head-Admin)(http://gyazo.com/69895b9442b712290f335b66455767c8)(No longer running)
EnderKitPvP/EnderHarcore (Head-Admin)(http://gyazo.com/25ab0e084acb3aa436b64c9b0d77768f)(Server still up but I am not longer a staff member)
ThrowBlock Network (Mod+/Admin)(Server still in development)
    McSapphire (Admin)(http://gyazo.com/944fa08827d99c4166cf0960c2e94ecf)(No Longer Running)

On all of these servers, I have caught multiple hackers and rule breakers. I am very familiar with what is generally required of a moderator. I have a YouTube channel devoted only to hacker reports and ban proof. If you would like to see the various hackers I have reported on various servers, click here.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - If I earn the rank of Mc-War moderator, I will do everything in my power to make the servers a better place, and to make the players happy. I will make sure all players are following the rules, and if any of our players do break the rules in any way, I will quickly and efficiently deal with them. My reactions to each situation of rule breaking are quite different, and therefore, the way I would "deal" with the situation/player would vary accordingly. One of the main things I would do as a moderator, is keep the server free of rule breaker, while not trying to seem bossy or too controlling. I believe a good moderator knows how to keep the balance between being too strict, and being too friendly.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have used a hack client before. The reason for this being, I was interested to get to know more about hack clients, and what all they could do. I feel that because of my previous use of a hacked client, I can easily recognize, and isolate cheaters from normal players. Take into account, that I never joined a multiplayer severer with these hacks, because the whole reason I installed the client, was to see things from a hackers perspective. I absolutely hate cheaters, and would never become on myself.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - I have been banned from a Minecraft Server that I used to work for. The reason being I found the owner spawning items for his team (It was a survival Server), and the owner demoted me and banned me out of embarrassment.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - 8/10 I am very active on the McBrawl servers, and I play all the time. I love interacting with our players, and helping out the players that are not aware of our forums or teamspeak server. Also, due to my current moderating position on McParty, I am required to be active ingame on McBrawl. If I do get promoted to the status of Moderator on Mc-War, I will equally balance my time between both War and Party.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - 8/10 I am on our TeamSpeak almost every time I'm doing something on my computer. I love to communicate with our players and staff. I even have the TeamSpeak app on my phone, so I can still be on the TeamSpeak when I'm not at my computer. I believe the moderators of McBrawl represent it, and it is necessary for them to be on the TeamSpeak setting an example. Thats what I try and do.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - 9/10 I am almost always connected to our forums someway or somehow. It someone posts a new thread in the Mc-War section or the McParty section, I get an alert sent to me on the forums, and an alert sent to me on my phone. Same thing if someone PMs me. I am constantly posting on our forms, and am always more than willing to give constructive criticism or help to anyone in need of it.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I would consider my ability to deal with tricky/multiple situations and keep a "cool head" my greatest strength. I can easily deal with multiple people who are breaking the rules, and I always put an moderating duties I have before my own personal enjoyment of our servers.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I would consider my greatest weakness in terms of my moderating abilities to be my lack of ability to easily record cheaters. I dont have an amazing computer, and I get an average of 10 fps when I attempt to record. I am already looking into getting more ram or a new computer, so this problem should be fixed in a bit.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - I would message the player and warn them about what they were doing. I would also willingly answer any question they had about what they did wrong, and why its not allowed.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? - Occasionally, would give them a second warning (Depending on the “crime”), but usually, I would kick the player. (The reason I would occasionally issue a player a second warning is because I believe its much better to talk a player out of doing something bad then kicking them. Kicking a player tends too upset them, and an upset player is way more likely to rejoin and commit the same offense.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - If the person repeated the “crime” for a third time, I would temp-ban the player. The length of the temp-ban would differ based on the severity of the situation.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - If someone proved me wrong on the forums, I would apologize for my mistake, and move on. I am always learning from my mistakes, and I don’t mind criticism at all.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - I would inform the user of his/her wrongdoing, and ask them to edit the post accordingly. Depending on what it is, I may also report it so the Super-Mods/Admins can take further action if necessary.

When would you lock a thread? -
I would lock a thread on the following occasions:

    - Thread is way off topic
    - The Creator has requested a lock
    - Its a spam thread
    - The topic has already been brought up and discussed/solved. (I would link them to the topic of similar nature)
    - A flame war has begun.
    - The thread has been "grave dug"
    - There is not much further discussion to be had.
    - The thread violates one of the forum rules.

Describe yourself in 3 words: Professional, Reliable, Helpful

Anything else we should know about you? - I love to help people, and I would like to be a Law Enforcement Officer when when I'm older.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - The moment I realize or hear that someone is out of the map, I would stop what I was doing and attempt to find the player. Once I have located the player, I would screenshot him (In case I need to report the OOM arena, or incase he reached the area by cheating). I would politely ask the player to come back into the map, and if the player still refused to return to the map, I would kick the player from the server.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - I do know all of the moderating commands of Mc-War, and from my previous experience moderating, I am knowledge able in all types of commands not just ones that Mc-War uses.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - I do indeed, and never in my right mind would I abuse a staff rank.

Let me start out by saying this: You are already a great moderator here and are a role-model for many members of the community. And although this app is excellent and you are active in all required areas, judging by the amount of servers you are Mod+ on, are you sure that you can handle this one as well?

It is a nice application and you are doing a good job of moderating Party, but your forums activity leaves a bit to be desired, I rarely see you active either on War servers or posting in the War section of the forums. Your TS activity is good though, so you have my +0 for now. Get more active on the forums and it may be a +1

I am defiantly able to evenly split my activity between Party and War. I already do, thats why I applied.
Thanks for the feedback, I can defiantly improve on that!

I am not worried if it was just War and Party, but all the servers that you shoed for mod proof, are you still active on them?

Ok, thanks for the info. In that case I know that you can handle the position. Like @Skulduggery57 said, get more active in the War section of the forums, and the forums in general. +1

Considering your posts, I have never seen you once in a War discussion.
That's a detriment to my judgement of your application.

Get yourself more active in the War forums, and you have my full support.
I've never had any issues with you on the forums or in-game.
And well, teamspeak activity speaks for itself.

As said before, become a more active person within the War section of the forums.
A good moderator so far, as well as good TeamSpeak activity.
    Best of luck, Hudstorm.

A good application, nice moderator, active on Teamspeak and forums.
    I only see 2 problems:
Your activity in the war sections isnt too good, as green already stated.
And you arent lvl 31+ on Mc-War. So for this reason I can't belive that you have been so active on war over a longer time.
You propably already know a lot about war through forums, other players and your playtime, but I think you should atleast be prestige before you apply.
So I will go +0 for now.

Im almost at prestige, and the reason I haven't reached it yet is because I'm not the greatest of players. The reason I applied is because I felt I was active enough, and I believed I could help out our community.

You have almost no posts in the MC-War subforums, and I don't really see you on at all. In addition, you aren't level 31+, according to the others who posted here. You need to get your activity way up on War before applying.

It has become very obvious to me that my activity in the War Section of the forums needs to be increased, however I feel that just because I am not the most skilled War player in the world doesn't mean I am not active on the War servers.
    Thanks for you feedback.

    When I said you weren't 31+, here's why I said that.
You need to show that you are dedicated to the server, enough to play until level 31 and still like the server.
In addition, I feel that the prestige players know more about the server than many non prestige players. (with a few exceptions, for those who bought xp)
For instance, a prestige player would know the killstreaks, but a level 10 might not.
It's dedication, and it shows that you understand how the server works, from how I see it.

You make a very good point, however I am not level 10 (Level 27) and just because I don't that much skill doesn't mean I don't have knowledge of the server..

@GreySwordz wasn't even a prestige when he was accepted xD.

Hud, I really like your application however people have said it already. You play mc-war a bit now and you do talk in the team speak for war. However, you don't post in the war forums and you could get a little bit more activity in it. Other then that, great app. +0 for now.

Setting aside our friendship, I know you are a serious person when it comes to moderation and take your position seriously. Your app is no exception and I wouldn't expect anything less from you other than a good application. I just want you to know that moderating multiple servers can be a drag on your time. I just hope that you are not too stretched out with your responsibilities. Anyways I feel you can handle it. +1

    Best regards, SHT00K.
