Title says it all people with under 300 posts should simply not be able to apply for mod, too many people just ignore warnings about applying for mod...

We've gone over this before. If we put a post limit on there, the overall quality of forum posts will decrease, as players will try to go quantity over quality.

This, plus it was just suggested today here. People would start spamming posts, instead of posting good posts.

It was a reason that only mods can reply to staff apps.
People use the SSN thing to boost their posts to have a better chance at being accepted.

I didn't have over 300 posts when I applied and got accepted. Obviously there are a ton of people who join the forums and apply on their first day, but post count is not necessarily a sign of activity if a member is rather new. For example, I applied for mod about a month or so after I joined this wonderful community. I had not yet reached 300 posts, but I was accept due to the fact I was very active.

My overall point is I don't believe we will ever be making it so you need a certain amount of posts to apply. It will just be as simple as: People new to the forums get denied.

Your not affected by all the people applying. So don't worry about it :stuck_out_tongue:

If the minimum amount of post before you apply is 300, as someone said people will just spam nonsense, write gibberish, use terrible grammar and slang for shorter posts. I was originally thinking of applying for a MC-War mod mainly because I was decently active on forums for the past 3-5 days and on TS. If people who have over 300+ posts for writing gibberish and claiming there active. This will be the corruption and the fall of this well organised community because possibly every person might have over 300 posts for nonsense.

Besides that you don't have to have 300 posts to be a mod, it really is how active you are on TS, in game and forums.
