    Note: Before I get started here I will tell you that all of theses items will require new textures, that are not in the Official Mc-WarZ Texturepack.



    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Airstrike=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

    What It Does: When thrown it would make about 10 tnt packets fall from the sky, and blow up. A person could only through one once an hour.

    Possible texture: [​IMG]

    What item could be used as it: Music Disc 13



    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Suicide Vest=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

    What It Does: It replaces your chest plate with an explosive vest, once you are killed, it explodes. Very handy for those who wanna take-one-for-the-team.

    Possible texture: [​IMG]

    What Item could be it: Chainmail Chestplate

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Xray Goggles=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

    What It Does: Allows you to see through walls (Toggle on and off while wearing the helmet with /x command)

    Possible texture: [​IMG]

    What item It could be: Chainmail helmet

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Night Vision Device=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

    What It Does: Allows you to see at night with a night vision potion effect while worn, does same protection as an Iron Helmet.

    Possible texture: [​IMG]

    What item it could be: Pumpkin (It would be replacing the scuba helmet)

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Grenade Launcher=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

    What it Does: Uses grenades as ammo and launches them far to allow long range explosions.

    Possible texture: [​IMG]

    What item it could be: Light blue dye

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Throwing Knives=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

    What it Does: Allows you to throw knives 10-20 blocks dealing 4.5 hearts of damage.

    Possible texture: [​IMG]

    What item it could be: Golden Sword




    Sorry for small textures, they were meant for the Texturepack, you can drag and drop these to your desktop to see a larger version if needed.

    @Mrcowlick these are basic ideas, all that need stuff added on to them, thats why I posted them here for people to comment what they would like each to have/do

    night vision hemet isnt really needed because its always day on this server and even in buildings its always bright enough to see

    EDIT:

    srry i thought this ideas are for mc-war :banghead:

    This one seems a little OP. It guarantees you and your friends an easy win, and in the event that the enemy survived, they would have broken bones and everything. In addition, I'm pretty sure DayZ is an apocalypse. You can't simply call in jet planes to bomb the area like you could in modern warfare.
    Not possible without a mod or hacked client.
    I find the scuba helmet decently useful at times, so it would suck to have a night vision thing replace it. Plus, it's simply a night vision device, it doesn't really need a special pumpkinblur texture.

    I really like everything, the only thing I found a little to overpowered were the Xray Goggles.
    The ideas and everything are good but it takes away the feel of DayZ...

    The airstrike, suicide vest and X-ray goggles seem a bit over powered. Firstly a 10 block TNT rain? That can kill a guy in full diamond 3 times over. Depending on the explosion for the suicide vest when someone goes a couple blocks to you and randomly die from an explosion after they kill you. X-ray goggles would be nearly useless because you can simply use the compass to see where people are.

    The others seem alright, some are completely amazing like the night vision.

    I prefer to keep the armor the other people are wearing unknown, cause you could be a full diamond and 5 people log in ender. You get scared, use the X-ray goggle and say pft all leather. I want to keep that a surprise when I rush :smile:
