Well, I have come to realize that staff members are continuously betraying players, and I just find that wrong. Honestly, shouldn't staff members be people we look up to, and who we idolize? Shouldn't they be the role models of a community? Then why the heck are they going around betraying team members?! We, as in the Mc-Brawl WarZ community are almost saying that it is good to betray! Say New Player X joins the game, and says "How do I get mod", has someone respond by saying "Look at staff members as role models on how to get mod, they got it themselves, didn't they? ". Then, NPX sees multiple staff members betray their team so they can get full diamond, and makes them think "Oh, that is how you get mod? Ok!". In a way, allowing mods to betray their teams has created some of the horrible community of WarZ, full of hackers, DDoS'ers, betrayers, and overall just mean people!

My suggestion is that any time someone catches a staff member betraying or PvPLogging, they receive 1 point of punishment. After 3 points, the staff member is demoted, and they may not re-apply for 2 months. I think that this would cut down on the betraying's of the community, and possibly help the community become a better place!

@ehvahn , I bet you would support this *wink wink nudge nudge*

    Well, discuss your thoughts below!

Paparoach was demoted for betraying as well as some other reasons. Generally a staff member betraying is looked down apon, but it is also part of the game.

Well, a friend of mine @ehvahn was betrayed by a certain group of mods+, and still are loved by the community, not gonna say who though, for the sake of their reputation.

Betraying isn't really against the rules, and if a staff member betrays someone you shouldn't really demote them because they did that. Demoting is when a staff member is inactive, breaking the rules, or other reasons. Also, I wouldn't think the staff would say look as themselves as role models and not say apply on the forums.

    Technicality here.
Although I do support the idea (You know why [Name excluded] and [Name excluded]) I don't think this is the right way to do things. I think it could be so that if a moderator betrays they are simply told to not do it. There should be no real punishment, but reason and logic (Which, no offense intended, were, ahem, lost on the moderator in question when they betrayed (presuming they were unprovoked)) should be given to persuade the moderator to change their action. Maybe a demotion if excessive betraying occurs.
Moderators were given a power, and with that power came respect from everyone. If you're a moderator, and you betray, you lose that respect, and therefore lose some of your power over others. If you're a moderator, s-mod, admin, etc., and you kill someone you had friended and then unfriended while they were in their enderchest looking for food to supply their lack of it, then proceed to tell everyone in your MOD PLUS teamspeak room, and then have a MASS UNFRIENDING SESSION and kill the person in question (If you haven't guessed, that person is me), you lose some SERIOUS respect. Word of mouth happens. Other people hear about it, and lose respect for you. Again. I know that there are more than a few people who have seen my view of this scenario, and have taken up my side (Captain_Mark, for example) and would like this implemented.
But it won't be, and I know exactly why. And certain well-known members would like it to stay that way, as in only I know why.

This is why I'm hunting these staff (name excluded) Betraying staff is something I don't take very lightly... Shouldn't they be great role models.

Precisely why I lost respect for each one of them.
Also why there is no mercy for them if I see them. 8vo had to TP away from me to avoid being the punching bag of sorts for the misdoings of his predecessors.
He did nothing wrong though. I was just angry that someone of their rank would betray me.

I just do the old Texas standoff. Tell them to unfriend me, then we see who wins.
