    McBrawl Moderator Application:

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - Yes, I am very active and helpful on the Forums, McBrawl servers, and TeamSpeak 3 server. I always load Ts3, the Forums, and MC-WAR whenever I get on my compute. Without a doubt, the McBrawl Forums, community, and servers are my home, and I will never leave.
Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? - I have successfully reported at least 20 players. I only remember the ones I reported on McBrawl, and I have proof. PhireEclipse, a user with a hacked client that lets him fly, automatically aim, (kill aura) and could supposedly unban himself with a press of a button. https://www.brawl.com/bans.php?value=PhireEclipse&key=player ; Skywocker12, a c4 glitcher, who has glitched over ten times that I have seen. I reported him, and he got a warning to not glitch again. After that, I have not seen him glitch with the c4. http://imgur.com/sU0K58z ; Boomer(some numbers). Boomer was one of the first hackers on Kit-Brawl. He has aim-bot, and could not die. Other members, such as RLHChampion, reported Boomer also, resulting in his permanent ban.Just a few nights ago, a hacker was terrorizing Kit-Brawl with insta-soup and Force-Field, I believe. I reported him, and a proper ban suited him: JujinkoLP

    .

How old are you? - I am thirteen years of age, turning fourteen on July eighteenth.
What time zone are you in? - I am in the Eastern Time Zone.
What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I have been playing the wonderful game of Minecraft since I was 11; about two and two third years ago. (I started about November of 2011) So far, since my start of the game, I know every crafting recipe in the game, including potions. Back then, I did not have the idea of making a Minecraft account, and just downloaded the cracked addition, and made my username: "Captain." I played around in the Single Player mode, in cracked, until the Summer of 2012, a day or two after my birthday. At my birthday party, when I turned 11, was when I discovered Multiplayer of Minecraft. One of my closest friends at the time, Ian, took out his laptop, and started playing Minecraft. I noticed that more people were on the servers, and that he could talk to others on the server. I asked him what he was doing, and he showed me the online worlds of Minecraft. He was on a server (not going to name it) with PVP, RAIDS, PARKOUR, and a type of FACTIONS. His account name, Ace50000, seemed like a very cool name to me at that time. When the party was over, and people started leaving, I asked Ian if I could use his account for others servers, to get into Minecraft Multiplayer. He let me, and from then on, I played Multiplayer like crazy. I had a perfect reputation on all the servers I had joined, getting banned 0 times, and being staff on close to half a dozen servers. In February of this year. About February 1-5, I received my own Minecraft account. I was at my friend Flub888's house, and we were building a map for a server that he said was called McBrawl. He said there was a Call of Duty server, a DayZ server, a Minecraft Party server, and much more! I decided to check the server out, but I made a small mistake. I played a game of WarZ, and noticed I had lots of stuff. EVEN DIAMONDS! I freaked out at first, and died. I lost Ian all of his stuff, (He had apparently played on WarZ before) and I decided to call him and tell him that. He got real mad, and said I could not use his account again. Thus, he changed the password. Flub (Alex) noticed I looked real sad, just playing Single Player as "Captain" again. I then saw Alex exit out of Minecraft, and pull up Minecraft.net. He navigated through the website, and clicked on "Purchase Account." I asked him what he was doing, and he said, "What do you want your Premium Minecraft name to be?" At that moment, I felt like a lord. I told him the name Captain, which was obviously taken. I then asked for CaptainDerp, CaptainMinecraft, CaptainBrawl, (for McBrawl) but all were taken. I then thought of CaptainBrawler. It wasn't taken, and I punched the air, and gave Flub a bro-hug. He used $25.95 of his own money, and I told him I'd pay him back every penny. He denied my money, and said it was a late "Christmas" present. Since that fateful day, I have played as CaptainBrawler, and loved Minecraft even more than before.

What is your experience with moderating servers?
    - I have been a staff member on six servers throughout my Minecraft career, all six on the other account I used, Ace50000. 1) Minebuilders.me. This server was one of the best a while ago. It had a great staff, wonderful mini-games, amazing parkour, and epic members. I joined at the beginning of the server, because my IRL friend, Wyatt, was looking at new servers, and saw this one show up. I became great friends with the Owner of Minebuilders, jdb98, and we occasionally skyped as we played. After being a member on the server for 5 weeks, jdb98 promoted me to the rank of Moderator. I stayed as a Moderator until my 3rd week of Moderating, when I became Admin. I was Admin until that fateful day in March, when I lost the account's password, and Ian's trust. http://i.imgur.com/XKYUtIT.png . 2)Skybox Network. I was promoted a Moderator on Skybox only about 4 months ago, in January or so. I became well-known on the server's 1,300+ members, because I would almost always win the HungerGames matches. The Owner, "LTCR" as he likes it, offered me a Staff position a few weeks into the server. I accepted, and Moderated the servers well. Only 7 days after my staff position was granted, the server was deleted. No one knew how at the time, and I don't think anyone knows now, either. Apparently the server files were erased from LTCR's computer, and we had to start all over. He forgot all the staff members, including me, and made new staff, which ruined the server at the time. I gave up, and looked for another server. http://imgur.com/HoeToh0 http://i.imgur.com/cHNxjbr.png . 3) Minevision.us. This server was amazing back then. With 800+ people on at a time playing HungerGames and Factions. I joined this server in December of 2013, and became an Admin in January of 2014. I was an Admin for not even a week, when a hacker named Winterbolt came on the server. Winterbolt seemed nice at first, but the night after he had joined, he world edited the map away, and also, he sort of DDoSed the Owner. I left, hoping not to get DDoSed, and set off for another server, which would be the Skybox network. http://i.imgur.com/cHNxjbr.png . 4) ArteriamCraft. I joined the server in the fall of 2013. My friend knew the owner from his old school, and said I should come on, and told me the IP. After weeks on Hunger Games, Panem Factions, and much more, I became Officer, which the owner, iSynn said was like being a Super-Moderator. I was a staff member until a guy named Clowny247 came on and destroyed the server. The owner gave up trying to fix the server, and all the staff left. Now, the server is up and is great. http://i.imgur.com/P2h6HSC.png . 5) Lastly, Mc-Mine-Alot. This server was my favorite server for about 4 months, back in 2013. I played on it everyday for like 4 hours. I was promoted to be a Moderator around the 2nd-3rd month. After a while of being a staff member, the game became boring, because all that there was were Hunger Games, Survival Games, and Parkour. I beat all 5 arenas of Parkour, had over 150 wins at Hunger Games and about 200 at Survival Games. I eventually resigned from the server, which made many upset. http://i.imgur.com/F2lwVnk.png

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - If I am provided the Moderator Status, I will provide the McBrawl servers and Forums with a safe, fun environment for players to enjoy. I can easily identify hackers, and will easily video-tape them for proof. I am also willing to make sacrifices in order to keep Mc-War and the McBrawl forums a safe and fun place for players. I will be able to cleanse the servers of hackers and spammers, help people with their questions, and keep the Forums and Team-speak free of rule-breakers as well. I will perform my duties with dedication and responsibility, if such qualities are necessary, and I hope everyone finds my contribution to McBrawl to be a meaningful one.

Have you ever used a hacked client before?
-I never have, and I never will.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why?
    - I never have been banned on either of the accounts I have used.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - I consider myself a 9/10 for activeness in-game. I am online in Mc-War about 1-4 hours on school days, and around 3-6 on weekends. The times I cannot be online is when I am doing sports, like having a Track meet, or Baseball game. I am currently level

How active do you consider yourself on TS3?
    - I consider myself an 8/10 for activeness on the TeamSpeak server. I got TeamSpeak around three weeks ago, but every time I log onto my computer, TeamSpeak, Minecraft, and the McBrawl Forums are the first that I load. I mostly talk to my friends, and sometimes idol in AFK. When someone joins and needs help, that person and their question is my number one priority at the moment. I immediately ask them what is wrong, and try my best to help them in any way necessary.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums?
    - I think of myself around a 9/10 for Forum activity. I currently have 501 posts, and I reply many threads. I try not to reply to every post, so I am not considered a "spammer."

What do you consider your greatest strength?
    - I think my greatest strength would be my friendliness and helpfulness. I always try to help people, and treat people how I want to be treated, nicely. Whenever a new person joins, I always tell them how to play, and tell them to type /rules and to get the texture pack: /texture. If people ask help on something, I always help them with whatever they need. If it is a real hard question, I try to answer with the best of my ability. If it's a question about when the update 2.0 will come out, I tell them that the Owners and Coders are working their hardest on the server update, and that it will some out soon. If it's an easy question like how to change your gun, I'd answer, "Press the eye of ender. When it comes up with a chest and anvil, press on the chest. After that, press on the gun that you were using, and then press the gun you want to use instead.

What do you consider your greatest weakness
? - I think my greatest weakness would be that I tend to trust players too easily. In a few scenarios, I start to chat with a player online, and then start skyping with them. I would eventually tell them my name, because we had been friends for a while, and then they betray me, or figure out my password and mess things up. I have been working with myself to not trust people so easily, and it has been working well so far.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - I would tell the player what they were doing, and to stop what they were doing immediately. I would also inform them that if they kept doing it, there would be consequences for their actions.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time?
    - I would kick the player, and inform everyone on, including the one kicked, why he/she was kicked, and that if they do it again, a temporary ban may take place.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time?
    - After a third offense, the player obviously does not care about the consequences of their acts, and I would issue them with a temperate ban (no longer than one or two hours). I would then report them to a higher staff member, explaining the situation, and let them decide on further actions that should be taken on the matter.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - If someone proves me wrong on the forums, whether I have made a false statement or if I was confused about the situation, I would first check to make sure that their statement is valid. If the member is correct, I would apologize for my mistake, correct myself, and make sure to correct my faults next time.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums?
    - If it is a minor rule broken, I would kindly tell them about the rule that they broke, and ask them to edit their post, and make it more appropriate. If it is a larger/more important rule broken, I will press the report button under their post, or report to a higher rank staff member.

When would you lock a thread? -

    1) Grave-Dig. (Re-visiting an issue or idea from an earlier time)
    2) Flame-War. (If issues start coming up about a staff member, or a fight starts to occur along the other members)
    3) If it has started to go off-topic. (Example: Thread starting about an idea for a new Mc-War donor gun, and resulting with members talking about what sports they play in real life)
    4) If the creator of the thread requests the thread to be locked. (Example: Creator of the thread --> DrZRG: Requesting Lock)
    5) If it is a duplicate of a thread just recently posted.
    6) If it is a spam thread. (Example: <Username1234> SPAMMMM AHSRARYO GQwa ntviQUWAEST
    7) If the topic has been answered. (Example: The thread is about when SMGS will come out. Someone answers it, and the case is resolved. Locked)
I would state which of these matters have occurred, explain why I am locking the thread, state that the thread has been locked, and lock the thread. If I have no authority on the thread (meaning I cannot lock in that section), then I would alert a Moderator/Admin who has the power to do so.

    Describe yourself in 3 words:
    Trustworthy, helpful, kind.

Anything else we should know about you?
    - I am a thirteen year old male, in eighth grade. I am on the Principal's honor role, with all A's this year. I am enrolled in many honor classes for next year, when I am a freshman in high-school. I do many sports, including Baseball, Track, and Swim-Team. I have Baseball on Saturdays, and Track on Sundays, for only about an hour or two each. I have Swim-Team practices on weekday mornings from 5am until 7:30am, so Swim-Team will not interfere with my McBrawl activity, except for once a month, when I have a Swim-Team meet. If you would like to ask me a question, I always reply to conversations (In about one to two hours). When the result for this application is obvious my the other staff members, even if I am denied Mc-War will still be my #1 favorite server, and McBrawl will be my #1 server hub.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with?
    - I would notice the player out of the map, and make it my number one priority. First, I would publicly ask the player to either return back into the map, or to type /spawn. If they refuse to respond or do not get back in the map, I would give them a final warning in /msg telling them to get back in, and if they do not, there will be consequences. If they still refuse to obey, I would result with a kick to the player, an when they re-join, I'd publicly state what he/she did wrong, and that they should not do it again. If the next game they get out of the map, I would then temperately ban them. (One hour to two hours max) If they continue after the ban, I would ask a higher staff member to finish the issue.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - Yes, I am well aware of all the plugins and commands for the server.
Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - Yes, I am fully aware that if I disrespect or abuse any McBrawl member, I will be demoted. Being a part of the McBrawl staff is a big responsibility, and should not be abused or taken lightly.

Great application, great forums activity, however. I really don't see you that much on the TeamSpeak.

(Also, mods can only temp ban up to an hour.)

+0 until you raise your TeamSpeak activity.

This is a really great application and it reminds me of my application I wrote so long ago, anyways back to the topic at hand. The application is really good but I do not see you on TS3 a lot which is a big part to earn this position. Please be more active in this area, other than that based on the responses above you are somewhat active.

A +0 for the time being.

    Best regards, SH00TK.
