I think it falls under the category of 'a mod has to witness it first hand'. If there is one person who always says noob every 5 seconds, then mods will warn him (I saw this 1 time, not sure if it was the mods preference or what they actually do, he just said to calm down with the term. Do not state what I just said as factual). I agree though, the term noob is thrown around way to much. You are the one who died. You should have known how to survive. Also, how many times has the 'pro' used that gun, or uses another gun that the community deems as 'nooby (which is a great majority of the weapons in the game :V)'. There is nothing that can be done, people will be people. It is like the anti swear plugin, you are blocked form saying F bombs but people still find loopholes and do it. You can not change a great majority of the community, they are who they are.

 

I personally think there are 3 donor items that live by the name of Noob. C4, Ray Gun, and Crossbow Noob. The only weapon excepted by this is the Skullcrusher which I don't bother using anymore because it's not fun.

That happens a lot, but i find that donors say that more often to nondonors then nondonors to donors. I always get comments directed at me titling: Ha ha Ray noob! Cbow loser, Minifun dude, death to noobs, and it could go on and on.

 

Please, post your threads in the correct section. This seems like a server idea to me.

 

It does get quite annoying. I will take appropriate action if they keep attacking you and other players.
Also, I was called a minigun noob for killing someone with a Skullcrusher. After I told them my gun and showed it to them, they hesitated. Then the person called me a minigun noob. :l

 

We are working on a plugin that censors all the variations of certain banned words to prevent chat filter bypass. However, the implementation date is unknown.

 

There's nothing we can do 'bout it, besides waiting. As @Cbsusd stated, there is a new chat filter being developed. Be patient!

sometimes i use iso or ray to make people rage it is reqlly funny.

 

Just try to ignore them. Its not you who have a problem its them.

 

Try and use other weapons than the isolator if you don't want to get insulted.

 

Deal with it.

 

If a "pro" calls out "ISO NOOB", I think they are not a pro. But really, people aren't going to stop.

 

When I used Skully constantly a while back, I was always getting called mini-noob. Now I actually have the minigun! Who's laughing now?!?! (Actually they are)...

On Topic:
This is the internet, like everyone has said, people will insult people...
But there is also something dreadfully annoying about dying on like an 18 ks to someone who is lower levelled than you who is using a OSK gun. One time I almost nuked with l118a, but the game was about to end so i had to rush a bit to get the 2 remaining kills, walked right into some iso camper's sight and got shot in the foot...* And then boom, no l118a nuke for me... It's just a new level of frustration for most players, and since it's the internet, they take it out on others around them... That's life, you shall have to learn to deal with it, i'm afraid...


*The bullet went under the thing i was running around

ive been practicing with the law lately and i can get 20 kills on average with it. the surprising thing is that no one calls me a law noob, and if someone calls me a ray noob, i correct them Ray Pro* and that seems to make them stop their labeling

 

While I don't call people noobs often, I think this post is ridiculous, just ignore them. Who cares what someone says over the internet about a gun you are using.
