    Question: Does a player have to be online to be invited by the owner of a clan? I am not 100% sure how the clan system works.

    Well, I just tested this on the server, and you can send invites to players who are offline, however, once they come online, they will not be automatically notified that they have been invited to the clan, nor will they actually be able to use /clan join.
    The clans plugin usually takes one or two attempts for it to work anyway.
