    So people are saying that Molotov's needs a damage buff, but I think they are fine.
    However, I do think some changes could be made that would enhance the feel of the Molotov.

    This is my idea.

    - Still a war buy/donator item.

    - Instead of the Molotov acting like a grenade and having a set time it will burn at, make it break as it hits the floor/wall. Easily doable.

    - The current Molotov explodes like a grenade. Instead, have it burn like a real Molotov. Set it so when it breaks, it ignites a 2x2 area around it and the fire stays for 2-3 seconds. The perfect way to keep the other team off your back as you go to reload, or run from the infected.
    A bit trickier to pull off, so it may take some time to work out the bugs.

    -Damage. I think it is fine as it is. Not to powerful and easy to recover from. ( Given that you are not being shot at like fish in a barrel, at the time. )

    This would make molotovs a lot more realistic, and it doesn't sound like it will be very op, so a +1 from me.

    Sounds good to me, and though I don't have them I am sure that this would make them much better.

    I think the AoE should be the same but have it explode on contact.

    Beautiful post, love how you set it up!

    I think that this would benefit a lot of Molotov users (@Scoat2 )

    It might need a damage buff, but on the "burn time" side, meaning the fire should be shorter.

    I like that the idea of explosion on impact/the first idea works.
    It will make it seem realistic, more fun, and enjoyable.

    The impact is my favorite part because glass bottles aren't supposed to bounce of a wall and wait for a few seconds until they ignite. Anyways, this would make the Molotov a more tactical weapon so +1 for this.

    I'm thinking of instead of nerfing its range but making the fire last longer, make the fire effect last longer and keep its range like it is in WarZ. The fire effect doesn't have to be as long though. I'm thinking maybe 1/2 the duration of WarZ molotovs? Comparing this to flashbangs, molotovs are weak in comparison and are only most useful in OITC.

    This was in Minestrike, but it caused FPS lag for some players.
    @Daudzoe
    However, it can't be too bad. Plus, there's an option in the config to set the range and time that it burns, so the idea should work fine.

    Would be nice if Molotovs would work in infect again. back then when they did, Molotovs were actually verry useful!

    This idea is reasonable, the Molotov like you have showed it in your threads needs to have a better tactical purpose which is of course lighting up the area.

    The Tactical part of it, If I had it my way, would be cutting off a hallway and such for a short while. I actually visited a server that did what my idea with the Molotov's. It was awesome! ^-^
