Poem The sniper

    The snipers battles are picked with care
    For the importance of his mighty stare

    Is one that is unequaled in many places
    But non more then his team's own faces

    His teammates owe him many debts
    But he still keeps many regrets

    "why must we fight? why must we kill?"
    the answer comes from his window sill

    A mighty crack splits the sky
    The man standing before it begins to cry

    The sniper then knows why he must fight
    For only a sniper can finish his own blight

    Interpretation: A sniper must pick his battles carefully, his sniper scope's mighty stare is what saves many lives on the battlefield. However the killing power makes many snipers stop and ponder "why?" until he realizes that snipers are the best at killing other snipers, "his own blight" meaning himself, a sniper

    Authors note: my first time trying poetry pretty much ever. did I do good? feedback please
