Add on to mvp (or/and vip)

I'm not a big fan of this to be honest, It will most likely be abused, even if we were to implement a filter along side it.
Also, I am sure players are able to change their Minecraft Usernames in the upcoming Minecraft Update, so this would be unnecessary then.

 

Watch someone make a nick like DDOSDOX. The chat censorer will make it look like something weird.

 

I completely agree with you. Giving players the ability to /nick can be an issue, because they can change their name to something completely irrelevant to their IGN, and no body would know who they are. This would make screenshot proof harder, because they can change their name to another player and broadcast an IP. Plus, if a Mod tries to kick a member with a nick, it would be nearly impossible to find out who it is (if it's not related to their name). Of course you could make rules against this, but that's just another rule to enforce. Too many issues with this, I don't see it being implemented.

 

Yea this would be abuses so hard.. For people would make their nicks something along the lines of mine..

If they made it so it had to be relative to you username and automatically not work if it had a cuss word it in then it would be okay.

Like my name for example. I would have to have my nick be "Corperal" because my name has Cock in it so it wouldn't work and it has to be relative to my name.

 

Well, its kind of pointless.
As stated, the new updates for Minecraft already have something like this.
So, it would only be effective until we upgrade.

 

No, I think /nick is pointless in Mc-War there isn't really a way of being targeted
