    This is a idea for an system that would allow you to use attachment and get a more customised setup.

    You have a new menu for attachments in your gun menu. In there there are a couple of categories. For example: Sniper, Assault, Pistol, shotgun and some other attachments. These attachments are like perks that only affect your weapons.

    The items that would be used as attachments are dyes. The attachments would be unlocked at different levels depending on how good they are.

    Here are some ideas for attachments:
    Assault:
    Foregrip: better scoped accuracy with assault rifles and smgs
    Adjustable stock: the player moves faster while scoped
    Long barrel: longer range and tiny accuracy buff
    Rapid fire: faster rate of fire
    Flashlight: gives player nightvision while holding wepon
    Sniper:
    FMJ: tiny damage buff and ability to pirce armor
    Bipod: When you sneak you have the same accuracy as when you scope

    Shotgun:
    Slugs: less bullets per shot but more damage
    Grip: reduces bullet spread
    Flashlight: gives player nightvision while holding wepon
    Pistol:
    Flashlight: gives player nightvision while holding wepon
    Pistol scope: better scoped accuracy
    Law:
    Aerodynamic rockets: rockets travel allot faster
    Crossbow:
    Tri bolt: fires 3 Arrows at the same time like a shotgun however this uses 4x more arrows than normaly
    Larger warhead: the explosions are 2x big however this uses 2x more arrows than normaly

    I like the idea in general, I think it would really add to the game and I believe it would be codeable. But let me explain some problems I have with some of the attachments.

    Flashlight: Pointless, there is no night in MC-War.
    Tri-Bolt for Crossbow: Way too OP. I'm sorry, but just imagine @joeymast99 with this...
    Larger Warhead for Crossbow: Also way too OP, with this you can even hold off a 10-block doorway just by spamming bolts in to the middle.
    Pistol Scope for Pistol: In my experience, pistols already are 100% accurate when scoped?
    FMJ for Snipers: Bit too OP, especially for a gun like Dissasembler, but maybe just the piercing armor thing? So basically, armor doesn't do anything against these bullets.
    Rapid Fire: Have you heard of the minigun? No. Please God No. No.

    Apart from these, I like your ideas, and even the ones I listed above are pretty good, might just need some tweaking.

    Overall it's a very creative idea, good job!

    First of all, "Pump Action" is the pumping system for a lot of shotguns.
    I suggested this a little while ago myself.
    And the Crossbow attachments is abnormaly OP.

    Flashlight There is many times ive been killed by people hiding in the shadows, thats why.
    Tri-Bolt a normal crossbow uses 4 Arrows per shot, this one would use 16, so if you are not carefull you will only have 4 shots.
    Rapid Fire wont work for minigun, only assault rifles and smgs.

    EDIT: Dont vote no just because you Think some of the attatchment ideas are OP, they are just ideas!

    I really would love to see attachments for guns in Mc-War but better nerf those ones because they do look quite overpowered currently.

    Ok first of all, foregrip: fairly useful.
    Adjustable stock: I think this could come in very handy for rushing.
    Long barrel: I Honestly don't think that this would provide much of an advantage.
    Rapid fire: oh god imagine this with skullcrusher...
    Flashlight: This would have a very VERY limited use.
    FMJ: nope, snipers are powerful enough as they are now, piercing armor would be fairly op, remember the leather armor that you have standard is still armor.
    Pump action: Pump action snipers don't exist this is stupid.
    Bipod: Nope, makes camping easier.
    Slugs: I think it should be made to have less bullets per shot more damage and more accuracy and range.
    Grip: get rid of this and integrate it with slugs.
    Pistol scope: eh pistols are very accurate scoped as it is.
    aerodynamic rockets: no just no.
    Tri bolt: dear god no.
    Larger warhead: hell no.
    Donor weapons should not have attachments.
    Overall it isn't too bad but I am pretty sure it was mentioned a while ago that attachments will not be added.

    Many of these are nice, and I'd like to see them. You should especially take into consideration that Orange might be adding a new gun mechanic in 2.0, that has less zoom for assault rifles and shotguns than for sniper rifles. Perhaps you could use that for mounted scopes (even if they are limited).
    My feedback on some of the ideas:
    • Foregrip should improve the hip fire accuracy, not the ADS accuracy
    • Long barrel should be replaced with the heavy barrel, which increases range but decreases hip accuracy
    • Rapid fire is not a good idea. Too OP with the SMGs, minigun, and Lamentation.
    • Since when is a sniper a pump action...?
    • Bipod should have slightly less accuracy than scoped accuracy
    • Straight pull bolt? (bolt action weapons only, like the L118a, Barrett, and Isolator)
    • Perhaps a flechette option for shotguns? (more pellets, less damage)
    • Suppressors would be very nice for stealth missions, silently killing players without anyone else hearing. This would apply for all weapons save the crossbow, LAW, and all pump action shotguns (SPAS-12, Model, SPAS-24)
    • Pistol scope should slightly increase the zoom level if Orange adds that variable zoom thing in 2.0.
    • LAW rockets should already travel faster than it currently does. Perhaps a shrapnel attachment?
    • The crossbow attachments don't seem that good (too OP), but perhaps an "attachment" that replaces the explosive arrows with fire arrows, and makes them do a bit more damage?
    • Night vision (with a green tint if possible) would be nice for weapons that can technically equip a scope, like the crossbow and LAW.

    I mean the version where you dont pull back a lever but uses some kind of pump action.. idk what its called even if it exists!
    This idea is from battlefield 3 and it makes the user able to scope when they load in the next bullet (im very bad at explaining, ikr :3 )
    The flashlight attachment is intended to be a low-lvl attachment

    These are all very balanced in my opinion, the crossbow stuff nerf themselves whilst wasting ammo, and the only thing that would be super OP is the bipod... Basically you get free hip accuracy with isolator! You could shift for 0.01 seconds long enough to click and get perfect accuracy shots... So it would redefine quickscoping... Other than that, I like the ideas :grinning: (they need some work but the idea of attachments is beautiful +1 )

    How to balance rapid fire: do what they did in bo2; and reduce the range by 45%-ish when you equip rapid fire, and also because your gun is shooting faster, that means that you would run out of ammo VERY quickly, and also increase the recoil :3

    Not terrible ideas. I am not sure how possible the coding for some of this is however I like it. Hopefully when we finally recode mc-war, we can have the ability to add ideas like this.
