    I have come up with a flashbang in minecraft with no mods. All it takes is a few simple command blocks. Video:



    By the way, for the redstone block after doing the redstoneblock destroy command, if you already placed it just destroy it and place it again. Remember to do /gamerule doTileDrops false or else all the redstone blocks the command block destroys will cause you major lag.
