We'll, that wasn't so much of a surprise. But nice to see where some builds came from. I hope that they built snow and nether by them selves or I would be disappointed. Nice to see you back elliot

 

I'm not that surprised as well.
The builds for the new map are all built by the people of the server, if I am correct.

 

Does it really matter if they're not original?
When it was added, we didn't have nearly a big enough community for custom maps, might as well just take other people's maps and give them credit.

 

I'm amazed a hub as big as Mc_brawl would do this

 

As long as they give credit to the people that made them, I don't have an issue.

 

If the maps are made public we can use them for our benefit. It's not Mcbrawl's fault that they didn't make the map private.

 

Well, they were buildings up for download... the authors should be happy McBrawl used their buildings.

They were up for download and mcbrawl took that and made a great map. Also new map is 100% original by players

I actually agree, if the maps were up for download... well who wouldn't use them?

 

To me these look completely identical. But as long as McBrawl got permission from the Original builders this will be just fine to use the maps. I don't really understand whats the problem if they borrowed a few maps.

 

I'm very sure the new map is 100% custom. A few buildings from the old map have been copied and pasted in, but only customs I believe. Everything else is build by Mr_O and many many staff members (including me).

Also I dont really care that they copied it.
But I must admit that those copies destroyed the current map bit, its illogic if there is a medieval city on the same map with a super modern city like Elektro.

 

Putty has been asking many Moderators to help with the new map. I'm fairly sure the new map will be very original, with builds created by the members of the community/Moderators.

 

It does matter, if you look into the book about the update for warz when you spawn in the long hallway that is kind of like a tutorial that's says the new map is custom, which means they lied to us.

 

The map all together is custom, some buildings are not.

 

I see your point but when you call a map custom it means that everything is custom, not just pasting villages into a map and saying that the map is custom. The map may be custom but the builds are not.

 

They actually did build many cities on their own, they propably did not have the time to make everything custom.
Would you like more to play on a half done map, only so they can call it custom?

 

I'm pretty sure this doesn't matter at all. If the people that made the maps want credit, mcbrawl will probably give it.
