Shortening post time limit.

There's a reason the delay is here.
People who spam the forums could post repeatedly, giving everyone unnecessary alerts. They may be warned and banned, but until they are, they can spam the forums.
Not a good idea, in my opinion, unless you can think of a solution for spammers.

 

Well, even with the timer, they can still spam, so that really isn't much help anyways... Because really, the timer won't stop a spammer, they can just wait it out.

But yeah, I like this idea!

 

They spam a lot less with the delay.
In addition, if you're having forums or internet lag, the delay can prevent you from accidentally double posting.

 

There are not a lot of forum spammers around, i don't think it will be a huge problem.

It has saved me several times.
Without the delay, as said before, there would be less spam, and a lesser chance of you accidently creating a double post.

 

I wouldn't say remove it, but maybe shorten the duration?

 

It was already shortened though. It used to be like 30 seconds, now it's only around 10.

 

Personally the post limit doesn't bother me at all, it doesn't stoop me from posting and is useful against't spammers so I think it would be better to keep it.

The point is that anyone can come on with a bot and spam hundreds of threads within a matter of around 15 minutes

 

If this was removed people could spam the forums. :V
