    So this is pretty simple, all it does is adds the ability to disable censoring, on the forums there would be something in preferences that gives you the ability to disable censoring, on the servers there would be a command to disable censor, this would only affect your ability to have swearing censored or not censored meaning that you disabling censor does not affect anyone else.

    Don't see a reason to add this. Remember spammer would just use this to swear and spam at the same time. If you tell me why this should be added I many give it a + but at the moment -

    Well I would rather see a swear word than just see ****
    Remember it doesn't affect anyone who doesn't choose to disable settings, only people who do, if I were to disable censor and you didn't and someone swore only I would see it you would still see the ****
    Also this doesn't affect peoples ability to spam.

    I think most people would just disable it right away so there would be absolutely no point of the plugin in the first place. I say this is fine because of someone swears and spam we can just report them.

    I don't believe that this is necessary. Swear words are frowned upon on McBrawl and the chat censor is there for a reason. If everybody could toggle it off, then what would be the point of the censor?

    It could be there for younger children who do not want to see "bad" words.

    Because it still censors swear words for people who want them censored.
    Only the people who don't want to see **** will disable it, there is still a point for the plugin.

    I meant to hit maybe then realized my fat fingers and now it won't let me change. I still think I could go either way but I feel if everyone had a choice they would just disable it.

    Either way people should have an option, if you look at games like war thunder and world of tanks they have an option to disable censoring and they are fairly big games, why shouldn't we have it?

    That's agreeable I mean people will disable a lot but I could see a younger player disabling hit or me just Turing of because of threats and getting called a nazi. :/

    I'm sorry god damn autocorrect I bury out laughing when I read that I meant.

    I could see a younger player like 8 years old keeping the censor or me just keeping the censor if I get tired of ddos threats. And I often get called a nazi so this would help. :smile:

    I have only ever been called a nazi once, and not on any mcbrawl servers...
    Also DDoS threats aren't censored :V

    Quite honestly I hate servers that censor swear words, I mean I can understand if it's geared towards all ages and younger audiences, but pretty much every damnable player on these servers knows every swear word in the alphabet, no matter how squeaky they are. If they wish to turn it off, they can, I for one would actually enjoy seeing someone cuss me out instead of just seeing stars, what's a good noob hunt if you can't see raging seven year olds rage in all caps, with their horrid grammar, only spelling swears properly?
