    McBrawl Moderator Application:

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - I consider myself extremely active on the TeamSpeak server, being on and talking whenever possible, and now playing music for others on a music bot when I am not able to talk (i.e. sleeping, chores, homework, etc.) The forums are probably my weakest spot, with only 169 posts at the time of this application, but I feel I could be considered active enough, considering how little actually occurs in the Minecraft Party section. I think I could still get the job done even with the current forum activity, which is consistently rising. My activity on the servers could be much better than it is, but is still a good amount. I've found while playing, most of the bad things occur on Server 1, but I still do server hop and try to help other players get things done and stop rule breakers on other servers.
Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? - 0, mainly due to the fact that much of the rules broken on Party are the chat rules, which cannot be handled unless a staff is present, and catching hackers while recording is extremely difficult on Party, as little to no people do it.

How old are you? - I am 14 years old, born on May 18, 2000
What time zone are you in? - Eastern Standard
What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I have been playing Minecraft since Alpha on my old account, yankees518, and have consistently played throughout the years. The first server I ever played on was a server called Creativity, which later became Espia, which later became Lumia, which later changed into entirely new owners. This was around Beta 1.8, right when Creative Mode came out. I joined McBrawl as an MC-War server after I got a Call of Duty game, not sure which. I played here for a bit on the rainbow parkour server, with the rank board, but eventually got bored and left the servers to go back to other ones. I have run several of my own servers, none of which have made it off the ground, but have given me an extensive knowledge of plugins and commands on servers.
What is your experience with moderating servers? - I have Moderated, Head-Moderated and Administrated many servers in the past, such as AwesomeCraft, SwagCraft (which I cannot find the pages for, probably gone down), Creativity (thread deleted), Espia, and Lumia which changed multiple owners, and I no longer have this posistion. The server still open is Helixcraft and the server I run to play around on or fiddle with commands. I think this past experience with servers has left me with a good impression, knowing how to deal with problems and commands, and not using the powers willy nilly.
What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - I will provide a new perspective for some people on staff, and rather just doing the job perfectly with kicking when necessary, I would put some fun into and try to engage more of the players into the game. Lots of staff on former server I've played on do the job perfectly, but don't appear to be having fun or engaging the community, just blatantly ignoring everything around them. I will talk to players about what they did wrong, how to fix it, why not to do it again, and let them have fun in the game.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes, I have used the hacked client Huzuni before, but never on MC-Brawl
Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - I have never been banned on a Minecraft server.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - I consider myself active in-game, though not as active as I would prefer. I began spending almost all of my time on Brawl on Party, while before it was War. Most of my time on the servers is now spent on Party, though I'm not very good at it.
How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - I consider myself extremely active on TS3, being on whenever possible, as stated above. Overnight I have started leaving music playing for people who wish to listen, and talk whenever I can. When I'm not talking, I'm listening to what is going on and doing my best to engage myself in chat.
How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - I consider myself semi-active on the forums, and not super-active on the Party forums based on the fact that most threads are extremely old there, and responding would mean a Gravedig. I feel with my 170 posts, though, I could still handle the position well.
What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength would most likely be my helpfulness, and willingness to help and the joy I get while doing it. As I stated above, most people do help. but don't understand what they're helping for or find much joy in doing it, but do it just to do it. I enjoy talking to the other players, and helping them sort out what is going on, and how they can fix it.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My greatest weakness would probably be bringing my day into the game. Sometime when I have a horrid day before I play, sometimes I will bring it into the game and ignore people who ask for help, or just fester under the surface and not talk with anyone. This is usually not the case, as school is almost over and my life has been going well, making sure no bad days have really happened.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - For the first time, they would receive a /tell warning base on the infraction, such as spamming or cursing in chat. For hacking, it would be recorded and sent to the report section.
How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? - I would warn them publicly in chat, making sure that it does not get unnoticed, and at this point they would hopefully stop their actions. If it is the same person hacking, I would record them and then tell them they have been recorded again, and send that into the report forums also.
How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - I would kick them with no warning, as they had gotten two warning before. When they joined again, I would warn them the behavior was beginning to become unacceptable, and to not do it again or they will be kicked/temp-banned depending on the amount of times they do it. Hopefully I don't catch the same hacker three times without any action being taken on them.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - I quote them and apologize for my mistake, but if I feel something else can be said I would private message them on the forums and talk about what happened.
What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - I would warn them if not located in my section, send a report, and tell Signatured/the other mods for that section. If in my section, I would say what was done wrong, and then delete the post depending on what was located in the post.
When would you lock a thread? - In these situations

    • Flame War about to start (player1: ur stoopid player2: no ur ugly player1: SHUTUP!! etc.)
    • The Owner has requested a lock from reporting it.
    • Violates the forum rules
    • A grave-dug thread
    • A spam thread
    • Thread has become completely off-topic
    • The question has been answered/already brought up

Describe yourself in 3 words: Professional, Jovial, Helpful
Anything else we should know about you? - I enjoy helping people and talking with other people on the forums and in-game. I love the Brawl servers, and know and understand how to handle power well.
Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - The first time, would be a /tell warning to them, and hopefully at this point they will get back in the map. If they refuse to enter back in the map, there would be a public chat warning directed at them to stay inside of the map. If these two warnings are not taken seriously, the player shall be kicked.
Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - I do have a respectable knowledge of how most plugins and commands work, though I may need to learn some of the new ones, as /kick and /ban aren't the usual commands.
Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - I understand that if my power is abused and I disrespect others in-game, on TeamSpeak and on the forums, then my power will be taken away from me.

Please insert a Yes / No poll below.

Yes, +1. Erebos you would make a great party mod. I know you are active on Party for I have played with you on multiple occasions, TS as well. Fourms could do with a bit more work but I believe you are suited for the job.

I have seen you in-game many times, and you are on teamspeak almost all the time. I don't think there could be a more qualified person.

Pretty much everything has been mentioned already. You're active in all three fields, and I enjoy how you are putting the effort in improving your character. Keep this up, and you'll be modded in no time.
Also, we kinda need more dedicated Party moderators.
