    The reason i dont like when the stuff despawns when the server restarts is because i was fighting yesterday and i killed 3 full diamond guys and my friend died also he was full diamond and when i logged on i didn't know the server was close to restarting and it aint fair to lose all that stuff because its really hard to find diamond armour also all the ammo that was just laying there so please try to fix items from despawning when the server restarts.

    Sometimes it despawns.
    Sometimes it doesn't.

    Items must be despawned it is one of the many ways the server developers attempt to reduce server side lag. If restarts did not clear item entities on the floor player's would be complaining about lag. It's a win lose situation.

    They usually do not despawn, but they need to despawn every couple restarts.
