Parachute not working???

    I was on top of some temple and I wanted to jump off, so I held a parachute and jumped off. When I did I took massive fall damage, lagged back to my original spot and fell down Again, killing me. I was wondering if I did something wrong or it was a glitch.

    How high up was the jump? You have to be at a decent height in order for the parachute to take effect. The lag back was NoCheat, thinking you were trying to flyhack/glide, so it brought you back up. Also, what I normally do is jump, then hold the parachute while mid-air, and hold it until I get to the bottom. Let me know if this helped.

    This has happened to me multiple times in the past, when i jump off the Quartz tower, which is located in what i believe is a T4 town in the middle of the map, i take fall damage while being in mid-air/hit the bottom and take a lot of hearts only to rubberband back up with like 1-2 hearts, only to be shot because i was trying to get away from my pursuers :open_mouth:

    It does work. If you jump off a flight of stairs in real life a parachute wont work. Same thing in WarZ, it needs time to deploy

    But I jumped off a pretty tall building, I would think a parachute would work on a height that would kill you from fall damage.

    Only a few times I tend to die, only because I shift or a zombie hits me off.

    It works from a 6 block+ jump.
