If any of you play MineZ, you know that it is basically the same thing as our beloved WarZ without guns. You also know that the Shotbow network has a map section http://shotbow.net/forum/p/minez/ . I find this map useful for when I am in the middle of nowhere because it states coordinates of your mouse! It is easy to look up locations around you and is 3D so you know the terrain layout. If we could do this with WarZ I think it would be great to help people find where they are and get to supplies. The MineZ map also shows chest locations, with chest types (Military, Military Epic, Civilian...). I think it would be nice to know which chests have abetter chance of spawning better things, if the chest spawns are based on Zone, ignore these last few sentences.
I am well aware there are maps in game, but what if you drop that to pick up a better weapon? Now, where are you?

What do you think about this idea?

I am not in favor of this idea. There is a map ingame, so you should use it to travel around. Also there are compasses that guide you to the nearest town. You shouldn't be able to track yourself outside the game.

Or don't drop your map :v
The map shows where you currently are and where your friends are (not named).
We rather not show terrain and chests so that the players can adventure the map!

I for one, think its a great idea. It encourages new people to come on the forums, and the WarZ section could use some new members.

Or you could write down the coords of "points of interest" so you don't get lost.
Having a online map would ruin the feeling of exploration for new players, just a thought.

It's not that important, but it could kinda help. I would just not drop my map

    "Don't drop your map"
Lets see, is a map more important than an Ak-47 or Diamond armor? I think not.
The idea was to give a better way to see where you can find villages. What if you don't have compass? You have to find them now and I only have found 2 in 4 days of new map.
