Chargebacks

    As many of you make know, hackers with alternate accounts charge back their donations when they are banned. This way when they are banned, the receive their money from their donation. When a player charges back, they are banned. However, is there a way to prevent players from charging back if they are already banned? This would save the server a lot of money.

    The most hackers i saw are non donor players and only 1-5% of them donated.

    Unfortunately, PayPal handles all chargebacks. When a player charges back their payment, it is up to PayPal to decide whether or not the buyer gets their money back. Since Minecraft servers usually give in-game items for their donations, it's sometimes difficult to win chargebacks. Even if the player is already banned, PayPal will still sometimes side with the buyer. If we could prevent chargebacks we would, but it's not that simple.

    In WarZ, 90% of hackers are donators. That's the only way to get anything done really.

    I highly doubt this would be possible. I don't think you can set it so a certain name cannot charge back.

    Lots of donors hack. I've teamed with hackers that were donors, and fought them. They're all over the nether.

    Sorry i don't play too much mc-warz but on mc-war the most hackers or non donor.

    As the respective Super Mods said since for the donations the system to pay is PayPal then if the the player banned in question get's a chargeback the seller can't really do anything about it, maybe it will improve through time.
