    Well I know many of you are gonna share this opinion about FFA and gungame. So we all hate the glitch where everyone spawns in the same place. this creates insane lag and makes the game impossible for most of us when the server is close to full. after that everyone rages and then because for whatever reason ffa has apppeared a lot recently it just keeps getting more and more annoying. Hopefully there is something that can be done to combat the lag issue in ffa and gungame and the spawning issue.

    I dont know if anyone has had this separate problem. In gungame and ffa many times my first kill never counts and this annoys me because I miss out of kill streaks. I can assure you that no one else has stolen the kill because on some of those days when Minecraft crashed and only those on can play and then the server goes down to like 10 people it still happens and there is no one to take your kill.

    These are known bugs, and I don't see them as that bad. The lag is momentary, and the first death/kill thing only lasts a few seconds.

    Actually i dont know if you were on today but the lag was during the entire game and usually by the time it ends you have no chance of catching up. it also is now worse because twice as many people are now on for the summer.

    The spawn and the first kill counting is probably a bug with the redstone and the command blocks, needs to be fixed for sure.

    What I usually do is run away from all the chaos, and come back when they don't have protection. Then, you'll get a few free kills off the start. But on maps like Lockdown, where everyone spawns in that tunnel is awful.

    Well, the cluster bug has been around back when I was mod, and just recently came back again about a month ago. I see no worries in it, since your death may not count in that cluster. I generally would either spray minigun so I would knife everyone I can see. If you really don't want to die (even if the death doesn't count) then just run out of the cluster, possibly 5-10 blocks away until it clears out.
    As for the 10-second no-kill rule, I see it as possibly a bit extensive, but still fitting. I'd rather not get a death from the cluster bug then to die in the cluster, respawn, and start killing once the clock reachs 172 (for FFA I believe) and 170 (for gungame I believe). Some people may debate on whether this form of spawn protection and grace period should be enabled, but for me it lets me collect myself and focus on targets by the time the grace period is over.

    The spawning in clusters isn't really a problem. The kills don't count anyway.
    And you don't get the kills the first 7 seconds of every match because of resistance in case someone is still trying to load in. SoI usually take that time to mess around

    true but im not talking about kills/death in the cluster i mean when you leave the cluster or if you never spawned in it because there have been several times where people only have gotten one kill off from winning.
