Can someone teach me how to make texturepacks?

    Simple step-by-step guide:
    1] Open the start menu and type in the searchbox: "%appdata%\.minecraft\versions".
    2] Open one of the folders here, such as 1.7.2 or 1.7.4.
    3] Open the .jar file you see here using an archiver, such as 7zip, WinRAR, or WinZip.
    4] Open start menu again. This time, type "%appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks.
    5] You should now have another window on your screen. In that window, create a folder and name it whatever you want.
    6] Open your new folder. Switch back to your first window and drag the following folders and files to your new folder:
    > assets
    > pack.png
    > pack.mcmeta
    7] Close the archiver. Play around with the images in your new folder, then load them up in Minecraft.

    You're done!
