Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak?– I believe that I am a considerably active member on all 3 services, I am on teamspeak every day and actively talk to a variety of different members in the community, including both staff and regular players.

Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted?– Within all of my Mc-Brawl history most likely more than 15. I can supply about 10 reports on my YouTube channel series “BAN HAMMER” which has gotten multiple (9+) people banned.

How old are you?– I am 15 years old, born on February 22nd 1999. Driving is right around the corner.

What time zone are you in?– I live in Ohio, so I’m Eastern Time Zone (which most players live in)

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft?– I’ve been involved in mine craft for quite some time now. I first remember playing Minecraft with a group of friends from school. They put together a nice little faction server, but of course it did not last very long for it was not that great, but it did appeal to my better half. After the server shut down I was pretty sad, and I just started playing call of duty for almost 4 months. After almost 4 months of COD I was starting to get bored, but then I saw that Minecraft came out for Xbox 360. I was extremely excited. I remember running downstairs and asking my mom to run to the local Walgreens. After she got back I ran upstairs and bought the game. I thought to myself “this is awesome” because I could play Minecraft with most of my friends because they as well had the game. But after all, everything dies, 3 months in the process I was bored again.


I decided to come back to PC about a year ago. But this did not involve Minecraft, yet. I came back to a game called Maple Story. Maple Story was awesome; it had everything I wanted, including an ego. There was something called Drop Game but you want to hear about Minecraft not Maple Story. So thus I met someone named LuckyPop, and then he introduced me to Mc-WarZ, and from there I was hooked.

What is your experience with moderating servers?– I first got a Moderator position on a server called Scavenger Craft. This was after my friends server went down but also right before I went to play COD. During my Scavenger Craft days, as a good friend of the owner he gave me more permission then a normal moderator did, and I eventually got Special Moderator. This gave me a little bit of knowledge on how Minecraft (mainly how bukkit, bukkit plugins) work.


I also got the “Developer” rank on a server called SightZ, which was about 3 months ago. The owner of this server was a friend from, since he did not know how to do most of the things I was always helping him with basic bukkit plugins, console issues, map changes, bugs, etc, etc. I now think of myself as pretty good with bukkit and other minecraft related things.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status?– I've noticed there are not a lot of moderators on Mc-WarZ. I understand that with the new map and all, all Mc-Brawl moderators have the rank on WarZ, but I really hope that even if I do not get accepted that there will be others being accepted very soon, because the truth is WarZ needs more moderators. If I were moderator I would strain very hard to keep the servers in top condition. Even though I am not 100% confident that I will be the “Best” moderator, if given the position I will most definitely try to fulfill that rank the best of my abilities.

Have you ever used a hacked client before?– Yes, I have used a hacked client before, but after some time now I now understand that hacking, etc, etc.. is extremely wrong. I truly hope my past will not proceed to follow my future. In a sense I have have switched over the to the good side and started recording, uploading hackers, etc. I have a nice little series called BAN HAMMER which you can watch some of the videos @www.youtube.com/zaspecknav

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why?– Yes, I have been banned on Mc-Brawl for using macros in Mc-WarZ. I remember the exact video of this, I thought that the person who recorded me, was a hacker so I figured “why not just turn on macros, he hacks anyways!”. It turned out he was playing the game fair and I was using an advantage, and thus I was banned. Although I was not going to appeal for this ban because I felt like it would be a cheap way of getting out of it, I bought one.

How active do you consider yourself in-game?– Extremely active, during the school year I got home at around 3:00 PM and played until 7:30 PM. From there I would do homework until 9:00 PM. From there I would play until 10:00PM which was my bed time. But now that its summer.. Oh boy. I wake up around 12:00 PM and play until 2-5 AM. Now just because I’m online doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m in-game. I would say that within that 12:00 pm to 3:00 am time frame I would be out-game for about 4-5 hours. But with the new map, one can only imagine.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3?– I’m pretty much on the Team Speak whenever I’m awake. So about 12 hours a day most likely.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums?– Decently active, I don’t necessarily post a lot of threads but I do comment, it’s always an open tab in my browser and I’m trying to be a bit more active on them, I don’t see a need for me to post on every single post, just to unnecessarily build up a sizeable post count.

What do you consider your greatest strength?– Talking to players. I am very easy to talk to in-game, on TS, or whenever. Plus I have a good amount of knowledge about Mc-Brawl and what goes on. Also, I consider myself incredibly active, in game in particularly, and what more can you ask from a potential moderator?

What do you consider your greatest weakness?– Patience, I am not a very patient person. But in the long run hopefully I will become more and more patient. I do get stressed when I play WarZ, and I believe some people may hold me to that, but it is simply because I enjoy playing the game so much. If I was to be given the moderator rank, I would become a much calmer player on the servers (similarly to the way I have been trying to act more professionally over the last couple of days)

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time?– To begin, it is always important to act calm and collected, and then politely ask them to stop, whatever that transgression may be.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time?– I would tell them that if they continued there will be consequences and kick them, if they show little intent of stopping.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time?– If they have disobeyed I would issue a temp-ban (kick) of around 10mins-1 hour, depending on the severity and class, of the transgression.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums?– I would most likely not respond back. Trying not to flame. Maybe drop them a like, if they’re lucky.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums?– Message them privately, if I saw it happen again I would message a Super-Moderator and leave them to resolve the issue.

When would you lock a thread? I would lock a thread if one of the following has occurred.


- It’s a grave dug thread, +4 weeks

- If the thread has already been answered

- If the owner requested a lock

- If it is a spam thread

- If it’s a duplicate thread

- If the thread has started to begin a flame and/or insult war

- If the thread was off topic

Anything else we should know about you?– My name is Andrew. I am a soon to be sophomore in high school, and I’m into gaming/computers. Even though I am into gaming I am interested in more of the backbone of the game. I really like to play around with servers plugins, think of creative things to do, and just play the game. I used to play a game called maple story, that game, even though not mentioned in my paragraphs before this started my gaming career. I first started maple story when I was about 10. That game gave me the potential and knowledge to be where I am now. Some things I extremely enjoy are playing my favorite game ever, Minecraft. Minecraft has so much you can do if you just open your eyes, in a way at least to me, it’s more than just a “block game”. PS: I love to play around
with plugins, also I partially understand how to code things but have practically no knowledge of Bukkit API. At least not yet.


Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to and situation is properly dealt with?– I would /msg him to get back inside of the map. Next, if the player ignores me, I will kick the player from the server so they are totally aware that what they were doing is against the server rules. If they then re-join and persist to go out of map, I would issue a temp ban, and possibly let a Super-Moderator know of the situation.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work?– Yes. I’ve learned enough about plugins and servers and I understand how the plugins work. Being personal friends with a number of the staff team, and even helping some of them out from time to time, I have gained a good knowledge of what to do.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away?– I do. I trash talk a little now, but not in game nor, insulting people but I keep it to myself and friends.
