WarZ Staff - What we do
Quite frankly, we're getting rather bored of seeing all these posts stating how the WarZ staff do nothing to make the community a better place to play, or to reduce the number of hackers on the server, and somehow you expect us to reduce the amount of DDoS between players?

Hackers
You need to remember, Moderators & Global Moderators are not on the server primarily to catch and remove hackers from the community, in terms of catching hackers, they can only do what normal players can do, record and report. Catching hackers first hand is the primary job of our SMODS.
However, it is also important that our moderators and players are actively recording when they can, so if you do find yourself fighting against a hacker, you can use the recording as evidence and then we can ban the player.

Once you believe you've recorded a hacker, simply upload the video to youtube, and post it on the report a rule-breaker report form. Note : You can check if a player you reported has been banned here by searching their name and viewing their ban history

In particular, Me and @Giggadream are actively banning hackers from the WarZ servers daily. For example, just yesterday, me and Gigga banned 21 hackers from WarZ. This may not sound like many at first, but take into account the fact we ban around this number (if not more) every single day, then you will realise how much work we are actually doing to remove hackers from WarZ.

If you can think of ways we could improve at removing hackers from the community, feel free to suggest it in the comments below, I'm all ears.

Flame & Threats
This job is primarily left to moderators on the servers, most of the time, when SMODS / Admins are on WarZ, we are in vanish and looking for hackers, so we don't want to speak in chat to give away the fact we are online.

We have recently changed the way we do things, we now ask our staff to deal with Flame, spam and threats via /msg or /tell privately to prevent any further flame in chat. So it may appear to you that we are doing nothing about this, however, in fact we are just dealing with it in private and not in public chat.

DDoS threats are "apparently" common on WarZ, but I see a DDoS threat very rarely, however, when I do see one, I ban the player immediately for 1 week. If you do happen to see a DDoS threat in chat, screenshot and try to get a member of staff on the server immediately, do this by asking them via the forums or on Teamspeak.

So, this is one of the main purposes of this post. To address the problem of mass DDoS and whatever else goes on due to WarZ.

Right, so apparently, there is a large cult of DDoSers who associate themselves with the WarZ servers. May I remind you, DDoSing is not a feature of Minecraft and what McBrawl offers are minecraft gaming servers, so it baffles me how hate regarding being DDoSed is relayed onto us.

I understand, for some people, WarZ may be a very rage-inducing game, especially when you take all that time to reach the nether (for example) and then you are killed in a matter of seconds. However, all we can do as a network, is ensure that DDoS threats stay out of our in-game chats.
