    The flamethrower tool is able to light up the map.

    Locked - Duplicate thread.
    Just in case you wanted to know, it's because the flamethrower shoots small fireballs now because of an update. These fireballs cause fire, which causes the map to be lit up in flames. Since fire tick is off, these fires won't go out.
    We call this Frostbite 0.5, we're still working out the bugs regarding fire destruction
    just kidding
