I'm sure that most of you have had situations where there were players spamming/being offensive in chat during a game. As far as I know, there is no way to ignore players with a command during a match (unless if it is staff who can /mute).

My idea is that an item is re-textured to look like a walkie-talkie (obviously only for mc-war resource pack users). The "walkie-talkie" is placed on an empty slot on the player's hotbar. When right-clicking while it is in the player's hand, a menu will pop up. The menu lists the players in the current lobby using green wool that is renamed as the usernames of the players. When left-clicking one, chat from the specific player will be blocked for the walkie-talkie user, and the green wool resembling the ignored player's name will turn red. Left-clicking a red wool will un-ignore the specific player.

*Optional*- The walkie-talkie menu can also be used to enable/disable the swear filter for the player. The filter is always on by default.

/ignore has already been proposed as an addition to the game, however I like the idea of a toggleable chat filter. There was a time when there was a player named Peacock and it would censor the name when you tried to say it.

Yeah we don't need walkie-talkies. We're going to use something more simple. /ignore. It's easier, no inventory gadgets, and faster.
