    Etano looked down at Durk, blushing profusely. Books littered the corridor, strewn chaotically as if discarded by a marauding librarian. Of course, he hadn't meant to knock him over. But, Etano was accident-prone beyond belief. He apologised repeatedly, receiving a mumbled "it's okay" in reply. Etano was just surprised he could even speak to his crush. He was so interminably smitten with Dark, most of the time all he could manage was a little squeak, after which he would flee to the safety of his books. Not now. However, what he didn't realise was that Dark was equally in love. Despite being the big, strong guy everyone knew him to be, his soft core melted like mercury when Etano came near. His voluptuous lips, his beautiful eyes - He just wanted to admit it right to his face then and there, but he just couldn't. As Dark picked up a book, a small slip of paper fell out. "Damnit Dark, why are you doing this to me?" it read, scrawled desperately in Etano's spidery hand. Dark spoke for the first time, hesitating.
    "Do what?"
    Etano blanched. Anything but this. Well, it was time to open up.
    "Dark..."
    "I..."
    "I love you."
