    Today: 9/1/13

    Orange451 founder of mc-war, mc-warz, and minestrike added a new gun to mc-war or not even a gun but a cross bow. Atfirst I bought it as orange normally adds really underpowered donator items and I was correct.

    Cons:

    The time to explode takes slightly too long and by then the player has probally been killed.

    The distance is quite pitiful. Its about 15blocks and I must say the python shoots farther.

    The explosion size is 1 block each side to small.

    Slight to much arch for its distance. If you fix the distance, you will fix the arch.

    Pros:

    Great for tactical fighting

    Has a slight arch to fire over obsticals such as the terminal glass and down the elevator.

    Firerate is O.K.


    Its a fun gun but it needs some work orange. Thankyou for adding this and I really appreciate it as I was the first on the old forums to mention this ever. Thankyou :grinning:

    SUGGESTION if ADMINS OR OWNERS READ THIS:
    - Decrease the time to explosion
    - Increase the reload time a tad
    - Increase range, but still incorporate the trajectory (arch)
    - KEEP the explosion radius (it's not a grenade, for crying out loud)
    - Damage decrease so that Flak Jacket users will take 2 bolts to die

    The explosion size should be bigger to be honest. It explodes in a 3 by 3. I mean a 4 by 4 is okay and 5 by 5 is perfect. Thats just me as the law explosion is enormous now an raygun explodes now making it REALLY OP.

    I like the crossbow, if I shoot someone, and then they get killed by someone else or preferably me, then I get a chance to blow AFK'ers in the enemy spawn up. It's cool.

    I call the crossbow the "Revenge bow" since it is a great weapon to let your enemy that has been killing you nonstop that they are about to die by you when you stick them with the bolt.

    Increased aoe and with lower fuse time? I thought the crossbow was going to be a balanced weapon!
    I do like the range increase though. It gets annoying when my bolts don't even reach my target.

    I like it how it is, why change the range? It's just a normal minecraft bow, if you want to shoot further shoot more to the sky. And I think it's pretty hard to change the firerate since it's a normal minecraft bow which takes some time to pull back.

    I agree completely, the current statues of the crossbow is pretty weak, especially for a donator item. Its range and speed is what I cant stand, I have to make so many adjustments when i'm shooting at someone.
