fpsHG: My first experience.

    Hey guys, so I heard about this new server. Of course I had to try it out. Turns out it is actually pretty fun. Here is the general break down of things I thought were good or bad.

    Guns- You know, some from Mc-WarZ, some from Mc-War. Some tiers switched around, some guns from places no one knows. That's ok, not big of a deal.

    Killing-Major flaws here. Every time I kill/attack someone, the enemy freezes and so do I. It puts the experience down a notch. These lag spikes need to be fixed as they make things less fun. (Am I the only one?)

    Classes- The purchaseable (by credits) ones are reasonably priced, but where it tells me to vote for a kit, no such kit is ever recieved. I click the link, fill the thing out, and no kits for me. :/

    Teaming- Teams are great, but maybe allow for 5 or 6 slots in one team. (This could be OP but who the heck has a team of 6).

    Food- UNSTACKABLE. I realize food shouldn't stack to 64, because that's not realistic. But come on. At least limit it to 4 food per inventory space. I hate having to go in my inventory in the middle of fights to take out that last 6 beans.

    Ammo- SMG, LMG, Rifle, ect. Too many kinds; it's hard to keep track.

    Deathmatch- Why Mc-War maps? Why? Why not a custom made map that correlates with the theme of the map you are playing on?

    TL;DR: Although I do love fpsHG, I thought it would be ok to point out some things I think are wrong in the game.

    I played today for my first time and I won twice (I'm a nub).

    Guns are extremely OP the way I see it (Tier II and higher) which is fine by me because McWar and McWarZ experiences.
    Lag spikes recently occurred after the update. They should be fixed soon.
    Voting for a class should be added soon. I hope it could be something better like starting with advanced weapons each game after voting.
    Teaming sucks for me if I have to team with 2 or more people. A tag team is fine but sharing supplies really gets in the way.
    Food is too unconvenient except for Medkits because those things are awesome.
    Yeah ammo is hard to distinct unless you use the texture pack like me.
    For deathmatch, I'd like WarZ maps too as well as McWar maps that don't suck.

    There's my explanation for your review Quack. I still play on the server though because I do find it very addicting. More than McWar actually.

    I've had this, pretty sure Myort is working on it.
    This is going to be fixed, I've heard you have to vote when you're not in a game and then you get your kit once you join.
    Imagine this- A whole team of 6. They all can gang up on one player and get gear for all of their teammates, say one can have a barrett/MSR, one can get a P90, one can get a mini-gun, etc. That would be obviously op. Plus the average players in a game is about 20-40, say if half of those players are in a team of 6, there would be 3 teams of 6 and the rest are teams of 2,3, and 4. The teams of 6 can easily wipe out a team of 2,3, and 4.
    I have to agree with this, and I think you should be able to restack the food if you unstack them.
    What are you suggesting here? That we should have one type of ammo for rifles? That would be way too op.
    Deathmatch maps are Mc-War maps because they haven't built deathmatch maps yet. They could eventually have players build deathmatch maps and submit them in a Map Submissions subforum.

    Ok, Ok. I see how you're thinking. But the team of 6 can fight another team of 6 making it a very interesting fight. But I suggest coding a cap on how many players you can have in a team IN RELATION to other teams playing.
    Say- If there is a team of 2, a team of 3 can be created. If there is a team of four, a team of five can be created. So you can't have 1 more than the team with the most players in order to make it not as unfair.

    Yeah, I totally agree with your deathmatch idea.
    And food is very inconvenient.
    I use the texture pack and there is like an elongated banana clip and a rectangle clip and a yellow auto clip and I just don't even know.

    These things have been fixed / changed (so far I know):
    - If you win the game or die you will now be teleported to the hub.
    - You don't get a lag spike anymore when you kill somebody.

    Yeah, they definetly fixed it...
    It's the "new server jitters"
    New servers always lag like hell for a while, but it's all good now...
