Humanity Reset

Meh, I want to stay as a hero. So, no. I spent nearly a month working on my humanity, and loosing it is just a waste. Blue name is wayyy better :V

 

This has been suggested before, and been denied.
I like my -2.1 million humanity as it is, and if bandits want to be heroes, just AFK for a day, because every second or so, humanity goes up one. AFK for a day, then play for a bit, then AFK some more on a server where you're dead, and keep going like that.

 

If you're a bandit with low humanity and you want to return to zero, from my experience, in higher levelled zones zombie spawning is far more frequent - equip a diamond sword and murder zombies. I believe each zombie is worth 50 humanity, although this would take absolutely ages if you were at a very low such as negative 2.1 million.

 

Humanity is a prize for some people like myself. I'm at -4.3 humanity and I'm proud of it, if it was just randomly reset that would suck for me and other people who had humanity that they liked. I have a solution, instead of everyone's humanity being reset, what if there was just a option to reset your humanity. This would allow players who do not like there humanity to change it, and people who do like it to keep it. /humanity reset could be the command.

 

How about instead of forcing people to reset their humanity you make a command for it like the /flist clear command except it resets your humanity.

Refardless this wouldn't affect me because I've been trying to maintain white nametag status

 

I really like this, the ability to solely clear your humanity sounds like the perfect idea but should certainly come with a cost. Maybe can only be used once every three months or so?

 

I hadn't seen your post, sorry - but regardless the time frame I stated for the command to be used was far greater comparatively and I think that having a greater cool down would ensure the command is used effectively so that a bandit wouldn't reset his humanity every day to appear neutral when truly he isn't.

 

Most players who have extremely low humanities don't want to reset back to zero, because it's an honor to have your humanity in the negative millions. Yeah, wouldn't be such a great idea than.

 

Meh, I don't play a lot on Warz and resetting the humanity is not really needed.

 

I don't think this idea would really work, most people including myself like our humanity just the way it is. If you want to get it up I suggest you use @ehvahn's method.

And @Mario doesn't a command that resets your humanity kind of defeat the purpose of the whole humanity system? If you can do that, maintaining hero will be a piece of cake. Every time it dips below 0 you could just reset it.

But does anyone remember a month or so ago when @chickenputty did a special one-off deal where people can sign their names up to have their friends list cleared, how about we do that but for humanity? Anyone who wants it set back to 0 can have it that way, but it's a one-time thing only.

 

That's why add a huge delay to it. Make resetting your humanity a must if you want to actually change from bandit -> hero or vice versa. Maybe a one-time use, couple weeks delay, anything works really.

However, if putty is really in the mood, he can just do another special deal because that'd work so much better.
