Help on Making a Map

    Before you even say it, I know how to make a map (blocks, blocks, blocks, worldedit, details, done). The problem is that where do I build it? I've seen people build maps in the creative server but one 80 by 80 plot is never gonna work for me. So can I build it in single player and PM/email the map to one of the admins? (or I could provide a download)

    Also, I've started the project/map already and a 80 by 80 plot is not gonna work (too small).

    It's fine if you provide a download, or give the download link to an admin.
    Yes, you could build it in single player. However, I recommend using a local hosted Bukkit server, so that you can use Worldedit and such.
    In addition, if you don't want to home host, you could use McEdit, an external application, as an alternative to Bukkit.

    You could build something before this build and earn advbuilder to get a bigger plot to work with :wink:

    BrawlerAce_, thx for the answer! I have LiteLoader (somewhat like MC Forge (and even works with it!)) and WorldEditWrapper, a Litemod that has, well, WorldEdit (it works).

    Buddycrack, it's a custom map (not from CoD unfortunately but idea is good) that is a ====== ====. I classified the map name as I think someone would copy it (not you, someone else reading this post). I will put a WIP map submission soon for ideas and comments. And no, the ====== is not a swear. It's classifying (the black marking on gov't papers).

    Patrickdemoolij9, I will probably get adventure builder (and WO1 if I'm that good)) after the map I'm making in single player as I have a lot of progress on it already and I'm not restarting/coping all of it.

    As the question is now solved, requesting lock.

    Well you can always use a server, @daniellazer2902 ' a using one when he does maps.

    You can install WE in solo and install forge and install the mod NBT Edit in-game you can do alot thing with it and mabye use MCedit too if you want build with yout friend you can make your own server with hamachi :grinning:
