I've been playing mc-war for almost 6 months but I only play COD rarely like at a friend's house but I was just wondering where did the Ray Gun come from in the series? It makes the whole series look like a Sci-Fi FPS. I wish I had one on the server though :frowning:

The Ray Gun, if I am correct, first appeared in the Call of Duty: World at War campaign after you do an easter egg. I'm pretty sure it first appeared in the campaign because you unlocked zombies mode after completing it.

I can literally sit here talking about the Origins of zombies and the Raygun, but I won't.

    It was made by a scientist <first name N/A > <Last name Porters> During WW2 1939-1944 abandoning the project
Samantha the girl who controls the zombies created it to be found as a wonder weapon.

(Lore might not be 100% Correct)

All I know is it was first seen in a WaW campaign mission. It was made by Dr. Ludvig Maxis using Element 115 which was it's ammunition. I'm not even sure that's correct...

The next thing I could remember was Dr. Edward Richtofen creating the Wunder Waff or something like that.

And this is officially off topic again...

Ray Gun Mark 2 is the best. It is a good train remover in bad spots. Three round burst and no splash damage.

Ok then, I'll continue with what I know.

So after the creation of the wonder weapons, Richtofen and Maxis were making a teleportation device.

Skipping ahead...cause I forgot everything from WaW to BO1...

In Black Ops 2, four new survivors, Russman, Marlton, Misty and Sthulinger (I think that is correct spelling) meet up in Green Run, Washington. Russman and Stuhlinger found both Marlton and Misty in Town and that is how Tranzit started.

In Tranzit, for the easter egg, Stuhlinger is the only one with the ability to hear both Richtofen and Maxis due to the fact that he eats zombie flesh to survive.

This is all I know lol I am terrible at remembering things...going along with the fact I only have Black Ops 1/2...

OK now let's get back on the Ray Gun topic...
