So I just had a first go at minestrike and I completely utterly failed and did not know what to do.

If anyone has a guide for me about minestrike I would be grateful. But I do know how to shoot and shifting makes ur aim better. But other than that, I am a complete newbie

Minestrike is a server based on cs.
    There are 10 rounds.
You get money everyone round to buy new guns. In the first round you can only get pistols.
In the other rounds you have to get better guns and start to dominate the map.
If you die your main gun resets.
If you are on the terrorist team you can plant the bomb to get money + the other team has to defuse the bomb, or they lose the round.
You can plant/defuse the bomb whilsts shifting at the signs. It takes 3 seconds to plant and 10 seconds to defuse.
    Hope thise helped

Tips: You get money with each kill. If you use bad weapons, you get more money per kill, and if you use a good weapon you'll get less money per kill.
    Health doesn't regenerate, it's hardcore.
Aim for the head, headshots do significantly more damage compared to War and WarZ.
There is no stat tracking system, everything resets after 10 rounds, or 1 game.
You may have noticed this, but enemy names are hidden (kinda). Use that to your advantage; you can move without sneaking from far away.
Holding your sword makes you run slightly faster, because a knife is lighter than a gun.
Most guns have no recoil, so the jump and gun strategy can work. However this is not recommended since you'll be more likely to miss, and since there's no health regeneration.
Only sniper rifles and the AUG have the ability to aim through a scope (or aim at all). Use that to your advantage, as you can run with these and gun more easily.
Stay with teammates at all times.
Weapons are more balanced. Remember that unlike MC-War, everyone can easily have a powerful weapon. Be mindful of that.
Feel free to suppress enemies, as you have more ammo. However, don't waste that ammo.
Unless you're suppressing, don't shoot a lot, since anyone can hear your gun shots.
Watch your back often, as you can easily be flanked.
If you're alone or with only a few other teammates, try to go for enemies that are alone as opposed to a large group. Unless of course, you flank them and have a capable weapon.

    Recommended weapons/equipment:
    Start: $1000
-Desert Eagle or Beretta (absolutely needed)
-Flashbangs, helmet, grenade, or smoke grenade (optional)
As you progress, good weapons are:
    -P90: 50 rounds in a magazine, pretty good damage/RoF
-M4A4 or AK-47 (direct opponents of each other): Decent RoF, nice damage
-AUG: similar to above, but has a scope so you don't need to sneak to aim
-Desert Eagle (if you don't already have one): Deadly secondary
-SSG (if you're really good at sniping): Powerful sniper rifle, can one head in the head
-AWP (if you're rich/you're pretty good at sniping): Most powerful weapon in the game, high recoil but can one shot anyone regardless of armor
-Negev (if you like suppressing enemies/can take them out quickly from behind with a LMG that has bad spread): High capacity (but long reload), highest RoF, kinda low damage, recoil
-Flashbangs: Works faster than War flashbangs. Blinds people, very deadly since you have no health regen.
-Molotov: Creates a radius of fire for about 5-8 seconds, quite deadly
-Smoke grenade: Partially reduces vision, causes FPS lag for those with bad computers (use that to your advantage if you have a good computer)
    -Armor: Obvious

Remember, some weapons are better for certain maps. For instance, if you're playing as the terrorists on de_dust2, you might want to take a sniper rifle and snipe enemies passing through the door on the other side.
