Hi there! I was just wondering what will happen to perks and other things like that. I have come to consensus that servers are not being able to get donations by it's users. I was wondering: what will happen to those donor guns? Thanks.

If the EULA (correct me if I'm wrong) comes all donations for servers will close. Mojang sees that servers are taking what they made and changing the gameplay and making money off of it. The servers keep doing this and don't pay moans half of what they get off of donations, (this is what server need to do to stay alive). Some bigger servers like Mineplex and hypixel can pay Mojang the required money to keep changing the gameplay by donations. So here's and example: MCBrawl has MVP for Mcwar, players can buy this on the website for ten dollars. When they receive MVP they get special perks, more credits, more ammo, etc. Mojang doesn't like this, so what Mojang will do is shutdown all servers that can't pay Mojang the money that is required to keep changing gameplay with donations.

I hope this answered your question.

IMO, i don't believe they will go through with this EULA crap. Most servers run on donations. If servers lose that privilege the multiplayer community will surely tear itself down. But, f they do carry on with it, I assume that everyone who already paid keep their items and the guns become available for ingame purchase. I'm not completely sure though. Also, putty said himself: "Aint even worried"

You can read about the EULA here.
    https://account.mojang.com/documents/minecraft_eula

Considering the hard work put into making the weapons and perks for mc-war there is the highest chance they will stay. The administrators can go one of two ways really. Either change and adapt to stay inline with the EULA. This could result in unlocking perks / gun via tiers. They could even be unlocked by some sort of achievement. It really depends on how the staff want their game to function.
On the other hand the administrators could continue doing what they have been by selling donator items for a small fee at the buycraft site.
Of course I do not know all the details and most is speculation since no one knows what will happen. Server side as well as mojangs side.

EDIT: @ButterMuffin112 this is just a bit of fore thinking, but if you were wondering whether or not you would keep your donated items I implore you to read these Q/A threads.

The EULA only applies to perks that give an advantage over other players, so cosmetic things (except for capes) and VIP servers are still fine, along with servers you pay to play on.
The problem is, nobody wants to have to pay an entrance fee and it's very hard to run a server off of people who'll pay for different colored nametags and particle effects, so unless servers can think of some very unique VIP bonuses, there's going to be a lot of good servers going down.

EDIT: I'm not quite sure myself about how the "try to make money off of anything we've made" part of the EULA will work, read the link Booflame posted above and see for yourself.

Are you referring to the link I posted? That link does not contain the quote "paying to use our code."

What I've heard is: They've got a plan... But it's secret. What I think is they find another way for you to donate. And you would donate every single little thing.

I am not sure. What I think is: Mojang can close Buycraft, but they can't close paypal. You can donate things via paypal, now the servers get a some kind of signal who the player is, and what he donated. Now this info will be giving to an open console, which will give the players the items, via a command.

The one guy who rated this informative. This is not their plan, but this is what I think could porbably be it! (This needs an informative rate though :v)
