Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? -

I consider myself to be very active on the server, forums, and teamspeak. I am almost always on the teamspeak, and forums. I spend most of my day on the computer and see no reason why to not be online there, the teamspeak is easy to communicate with other players and I can manage to multitask while doing other things. The forums is just as easy also, just check to see if any new threads have been posted and give your insight and opinion on the topic. If you have an idea that you want to share or a awesome clip from WarZ that you want to share the forums is the perfect place to show that. I log on WarZ whenever the most amount of players is on to get the thrill of killing people and getting killed. There is always someone in the nether waiting for the challenge of our team on WarZ and it makes it quite enjoyable to play everyday. Whenever I see someone in-game that needs assistance I ask them what the issue is and try to resolve their problem immediately. If someone ever needs my help in teamspeak I respond to them with whatever they needed and would direct them to a moderator/admin if needed, though most of the time it is a simple question that can be resolved without issues.

Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? -

I have only submitted a couple of rule breaker due to the fact that I am always playing with moderators that can take care of the issue before I have the chance to submit a report. Though whenever I am playing alone or on other servers I make sure to get some proof of the player hacking and immediately submit a report.

    How old are you? -

I am currently 16 years old, born on February 12, 1998. Being 16 years old I consider myself to be very mature for my age, and I feel I can handle the responsibilities of a Moderator.

What time zone are you in? -

My timezone is UTC/GMT -5 hours EST.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? -

I have been playing Minecraft since indev and have been playing Minecraft for the last 3 and a half years of my life. Minecraft has always been a favorite of mine and It has been getting better and better throughout the years. When they released multiplayer servers it wasn’t the best at the time but it slowly continued to get better and better though. I only played minecraft in my free time possibly if I felt like getting on the computer. Most of my time back then was spent outside before I became a full-time gamer. I only started to play minecraft a lot more when me and Conner (Signatured) started to play together more often. We played numerous servers throughout those years and they were the best, the glitches and the updates that Notch at the time were putting out were the best. We played a lot of smaller servers and really didn’t touch the bigger ones until a tad bit later, we mostly stayed on servers with a close community and only a few people online. *Skipping ahead a lot* I started to play prison servers when the idea came out and it really struck me as something new, they had tons of people online and it was loads of fun. I eventually started my owner server with Signatured and it was a hit! We had close to 100 people online and everyone loved it. I started to learn a lot about servers and how they functioned. I gained a lot of new friends in the server world and that really helped me to become who I am today. I know a fair bit about minecraft servers now and I have a lot of connections throughout minecraft. When I came to McBrawl it wasn’t on the hub it was today and we played WarZ all the time. Luigi brought me, @Signatured, @Mario and @Yoshi to the server and we had the best time ever. We would hide at snow and loot all day because going to nether meant that it was suicide. McBrawl soon combined all of the servers together and we started to play the rest of them. Signatured got hooked onto Mc-Warfare and Mario to WarZ, I would play the servers with them with WarZ still my favorite of course. Mario and Signatured soon got moderator and Signatured with SMod soon after that. Me still enjoying the servers and helping other people out on their servers would play with them still everyday. Now we are caught up to speed with Signatured getting Admin and Mario coder! I’ve had a lot of experience with Minecraft and joining McBrawl was one of the best decisions yet.

What is your experience with moderating servers? -

I have been moderator on numerous servers and Admin on quite a few as well. I have even owned a server myself and currently do. I’ll start with when I first gained moderator on Gizmoservers, it was a smaller server starting up and I decided to play it. I became Guard soon after that (Guards being the moderators on that server) and moved my way up the ranks, wasn’t far after that that I became the highest guard rank on the server (Elite-Guard). I don’t have any picture proof of that due to it being a very very long time ago and I have been through a couple of computers, if needed @Mario could vouch for me as he started to play Gizmo around that time also. I ended up leaving gizmo for a short while for sports and life in general leaving behind Mario and Yoshi for a little bit. They soon took control of the server and spruced it up a lot while I was gone. After a few month break I came back and started to play gizmo again from players point of view. It was very fun and averaged around 80-100 players at the time. I am currently a owner on Gizmoservers and manage my server and a few others as well. Owner on IPC Admin on Survival Admin on OpFactions Admin on Skyblock. Soon after I came back to Gizmoservers I started my own server with Signatured. *Going to skip a lot here since I stated it in the above question* we eventually shutdown due to lack of donations and looked for other servers to play. I started to play AEMcraft It had around 50 players at the time but soon grew to 150 and kept climbing after that. It currently averages around 300-400 players everyday and was very fun at the time. I played the PvP Survival server a lot and eventually applied for moderator there. I moderated and built for them for a little bit before getting op on their server. It was very fun and the experience and knowledge I gained from there can never be replaced. I eventually left AEM and started to play Mcbrawl more often then. During the time I moderated on those server I learned so much about servers and how to moderate.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? -

If I ever get Moderator on McBrawl I will do everything I can to the best of my abilities. I will always record on WarZ to make sure I catch every moment and make sure that no hackers go unnoticed under my watch. If anyone ever needs anything on another server I will help them the best way I can and will make sure to contact a higher staff member if anything gets out of hand or the player needs assistance in something I cannot fulfill. I want to help make McBrawl the best it can be by helping the community and making sure that it is the best it always has been. Clearing out the unwanted hackers and helping any user that needs help, no matter the issue. On the forums, I’ll make sure to keep flame wars under control or even preventing them from ever starting up. I also like to help sort out fights, such as maybe a person being accused of hacks and helping out the make sure that the proof is valid or not. I’m on WarZ or any other McBrawl server for hours on end and anyone should be able to contact me through teamspeak or the forums if they need help. I will always put the Players before my needs and make sure that their time on the server is the best they have ever experienced. I hope to provide Mcbrawl with my knowledge of servers and my skills as previous moderators on other servers.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? -

Yes, I will admit that I used hacks before in the past, but in my opinion they completely diminish the aspect of the game. I’ve been with minecraft for quite a while and learned that hacks take the fun out of it. While it’s fun for that few seconds and you think you are all that, you know that it’s wrong and the other player has to deal with you hacking and losing the enjoyment of the game itself. I try to make the game as enjoyable as I can for me and others as well.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? -

No, I have never been banned on a server before. I try to follow all the rules that the server has and to be respectful to all other players on the server. I try not to associate myself with people that would get me banned or influence me to do wrong. That is mostly the reason why I have a few friends that I associate myself with constantly every day.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? -

I play WarZ most of the time and Mc-War if I’m not. While playing WarZ with my friends I have a blast and can play for numerous hours at a time. If I run out of players to kill on WarZ I simply move to Mc-War and improve on my accuracy and strategy. I play for at least 5 hours on McBrawl a day and most of that is spent on WarZ. I will be getting a job soon and some time will be diverted to that but it won’t stop me from getting playtime on McBrawl and the forums. On a scale from 1-10 I would consider myself a 8, I do own a server currently and help out numerous people with their problems on other servers if they need me.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? -

If I am on my computer I am on the teamspeak. I play around 11-15 hours a day on the weekends/summer and 6-10 hours on during school and will always respond to anyone who asked me a question or needs help in-game. They don’t always come to me since I am not a Moderator, but if no one else is available, I’m always there to help them. On a scale 1-10 I would consider myself a 9 because I am always online. Most of the time I am in a skype call as well, but that doesn’t stop me from coming on the teamspeak and multitasking. While it might be a tad bit annoying in the skype call my friends understand that teamspeak is just as important as skype.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? -

I consider myself fairly active on the forums, but I know i’m not anywhere close to the most active. I always have the McBrawl forums open up on a tab and refresh it from time to time to check almost all of the threads and respond to them if I can. I know that the forums is a place where a lot of information is kept and where players can ask questions. Considering I play around 11-15 hours a day on the weekends/summer and 6-10 hours on during school, I have a lot of time to browse the forums and respond to a lot of threads.

What do you consider your greatest strength? -

I would have to say that my greatest strength would be that i’m determined. Whenever I put my mind into something I make sure that I put forth all of my effort and hard work into it. I would never leave a project unfinished or a job not completed correctly, I would finish it to the best of my abilities no matter what restrictions or hardships I may encounter during it. I will always strive to be the best of the best and will have no problem proving that with results. Whenever I am needed for a project I will complete it to the specifications required and above what is required of me, I cannot settle for less, or I feel like my job is incomplete.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? -

My greatest weakness in my opinion would have to be patience. Whenever I really want to get something done and other people don’t want to move at my current pace I tend to get a little mad. I usually never rage in a public chat/channel as it would show immaturity and represent Mcbrawl in a way that would be frowned upon. I rarely have patience when people want to disrespect other people or do anything that would be considered racial or hurtful to any other person, I take it upon myself to deal with them and continue to maintain peace.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? -

I would tell them that they are indeed breaking a rule and to stop what they are doing currently to prevent any further action to be taken against them.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? -

If I see the same player breaking the rules, I would have no choice but to kick him, and explain to him that he has already been warned once.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? -

If the player still continues, obviously a kick wasn’t enough to get his attention. I would temp ban him for 1 hour, and give him time to think about what he has done.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? -

If someone proves me wrong on the forums, I would correct myself and apologize to him/her appropriately. I would then educate myself about the problem so that I may prevent myself from making that mistake again.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? -

I would let that player what he did so that he may prevent himself from making that mistake/remark again. I would kindly ask him/her to edit their post so that the community is no longer offended by the post. If the problem continues to recur, I would then report it to a higher staff member to insure that action is taken.

When would you lock a thread? -

I would lock a thread under the circumstances below.

    • The thread has gone off topic.

    • The thread is a duplicate of another thread.

    • The thread has started a flame war.

    • The topic has been "grave dug” meaning that it’s an old post that was revived.

    • The thread has gone off topic.

    • The topic has been resolved/answered.

    Describe yourself in 3 words:

    Responsible, Candid and Trustworthy.

Anything else we should know about you? -

I am 16 year old boy that excels at school and loves math. I try my hardest in everything I do and make sure that it’s 100% completed to the best of my ability. I am always open to a question, whether it is about the servers, Forums, or anything you feel like talking about, so don't be hesitant to ask me. I am almost always in teamspeak or on the forums browsing, if you ever need me I should be there.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? -

If someone is out of map on Mc-War I could immediately stop what I am currently doing and ask him/her to return to the map or type /spawn to leave the map. If the player refuses to return to the map or spawn out after I have warned him/her I would then issue another warning with a more strict and stern tone, warning them that if they do not return to the map or respawn that they will temporarily banned from the server. If they still continue to ignore the warnings I would then temporarily ban them from the server for one hour listing why they were and how they ignored or disobeyed my two previous warnings. I would tell a higher staff members if any other actions have to be taken against them. If the player wants to discuss his ban and why I did it, I would contact him on the forums or teamspeak and explain to him what happened exactly.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? -

From my past experiences of moderation and owning a server I have learned almost everything about plugins that most servers uses and how they work. Considering that McBrawl uses custom coded plugins with foreign commands that I may not know about, it shouldn’t be an issue for me. I can quickly adapt and learn the commands and responsibilities that come with the plugins.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? -

I understand that abusing my powers will lead to an immediate demotion. Being a staff member on McBrawl will require the utmost responsibilities than anything else. I understand that if I disrespect any staff members or players that I will be demoted for my actions.

Edit: I accidentally posted my ip in a picture.

Mojang, your mod app is good and well detailed, you are very active in-game and on teamspeak, your forums activity is still pretty low but it is improving. Your very mature and seem well fit for the job. +1 from me, good luck.

The only thing I can think of on why you shouldn't be a moderator is that your forums activity is low.

As long as you don't play on the same server as the other staff in your team all the time, I don't see why you shouldn't be moderator, especially with your staff experience on Gizmo.

I basically bug fix on those server, whenever there is a bug or an issue that the other staff members can not resolve I come in and fix the issue. I want to become a Brawl Moderator because of the community and the quality of the servers. The community on the servers i'm admin on is slowly decreasing, and we have tried many times to gain a more positive community. McBrawl has one of the best if not the best community I have ever seen, they communicate with one another without major argument and can get a issue resolved with a more positive and effective approach. I feel that I could be better applied to the McBrawl community and help in any way possible to keep McBrawl on it's current path of success. If there are any more questions you have, feel free to ask my anything. I'm currently at my father's house and may not respond as quickly due to limited time on the internet (Should be back by sunday).
