I Want Nuke Tips

You should buy scavenger just kidding. You should use isolator and camp a little. When you are getting better, go more offensive, and 1 day, you will get a lot of nukes.

 

Have you ever tried something known as "strafing?" Basically with strafing you're shooting enemies but moving side to side at the same time, to block enemy fire.

If you don't have scavenger, like what poskeharen said, use isolator. It only uses 1 ammo per shot like l118a.

Try camping in a spot with lots of cover from all sides of you while being able to take down enemies at the same time.

 

1) Buy scavenger.
2) Look at the guides.

 

The only guns you can nuke with withiut scav are moddel and the sniper rifles...
I suggest iso for long distance and moddel for short...

Also, the python will be your guardian and savior, use it and it will reward you...
Expirienced pros like me can EASILY get a nuke with only a python... (and scav, but ssshhh)

Basically play off your current strengths... Also, go on ts3 and ask players for help.. play wih pros and their technique will rub off on you, improving your game...

Besides looking at the guides, I'd advise you to find an easily defendable position, a choke point, or any spot with a decent amount of cover. This will serve mainly as an area for you to duck behind should you begin to take fire and/or need to heal up. You're gonna want to be careful not to camp the spot, though. It'll be easier for others to pin you down, snipe you, etc. Instead, your going to want to wander around (not too far from cover, unless you spot another location you can get to safley )If you feel your position is getting too overwhelmed, get the hell outta there, and relocate to another position.

Just remember:

-don't try to rush the nuke.
-while nuking requires a great deal of skill, it also depends a lot on luck as well
-don't EVER rage if your ks ends or someone ruins your streak.
Note: this is not camping.

Remember, to get a nuke is a hard challenge, so don't expect getting tons of nukes now. It takes a lot of practice, but if you follow the tips we have given you now, it shouldn't take very long before you get high killstreaks.

 

If you don't have scavenger (or even if you do), your best bet is camping. Find a generally populated choke point, and shoot people as they go in. I recommend using the Isolator for this, while using the Python only if you really need to. Take your shots carefully with the Python; a headshot is an instant kill but you only have 32 shots. If you feel that your spot has been compromised, move to a safer spot. Don't stand in the open, but don't stay in one place either.

 

Get your UMP, just spray in a choke point without getting shot and your pretty much done.

I was in the same boat last year once I realized what killstreaks were. The most important thing you want to change is your play style.

There are two main styles along with variations of either.

Camping
A lot of players camp in a hard to kill spot such as a tight corner or shooting through slab blocks. These get the numbers quickly, especially if people are trying to rush you but can't land a shot due to your position. While camping is a good style, if the people who rush you know how to get you, they will. You are no longer a surprise but rather a hard obstacle. You need to have good aim if you plan on sniping.

Mobile
This is a style I tend to use on most maps and on FPS like Battlefield 3. Unlike camping, you are constantly on the move hence the name. The trick is to use covers, kill, and advance. You have the element of surprise, and people who will rush towards your spot you were last seen will only come to an empty spot with you nearby. This style is very effective in maps like Bayview where there's a lot of cover in the flag rooms. You need to be fully aware of your surroundings and have fast reactions and knowledge of the map (where most people rush to, etc) if you want to get a good killstreak. It would be preferrably to use guns that have good hip fire aim or have a good in general hip fire aim as you will get closer to your targets and may not have time to scope.

Guns
The guns you use are also very important to consider. Some guns are easier to kill with like the I so and others can take out multiple enemies like the skullcrusher. Some guns have great pros like the AK47's fast reload or the high ammo capacity of bolt action rifles but come with their con's. Find a weapon you are comfortable to use and change it according to the map. A good way to find your weapon or weapons is by using a different one each map. By doing this, I found out my comfortable weapons are three bursts automatics and fast fire rate snipers. Remember higher levels don't always mean better than its predecessor.

Scavenger
Unless you conserve ammo like a water bottle in a desert, you probably won't have enough for that nuke streak. It can take a few bullets to take out one enemy, and nothing sucks more than running out of ammo on a 20ks. Scavenger eliminates this frustration by giving you 1/4 ammo back per kill.

1. buy scavenger, ray and minigun
2. find good camping sports and go there with minigun/skullcrusher/dissasembler
3. go on higher places in infect and use ray in infect
4. leave the game when you get infected if you have no c4/grenades
5. only play ffa with minigun
6. dont play gungame unless you know good camping spots
7. join a good clan

If you cant donate for any reason do what i absolutely hate : camp with the isolater.

 

Camp it out bruh.

 

The best advice I can give to first nukers is to camp it, and find the best spots with 2+ camping angles.

The best spots have these features:
1. Find an area with blocks that can cover you to hide behind
2. make sure the spot has at least 2 different shooting angles (preferably three). This way you have a triangle of shooting positions (e.g. three different positions that you can run to easily and without danger). This is great when your camping spot is found out, you just disappear to another spot.
3. When you get to EMP (or someone else does) run out and get a quick few free kills while the enemy is blind. This will get you closer to your 21ks target.
4. Don't be afraid to follow a really good player to see what they are doing, or where their spot is. (don't shot block them tho!!)

NOO dont camp- it makes u a easy target.
Instead, dodge bullets by jumping around and learn to quickscope really well.
Also, try conserving python ammo as much as possible.

This is pretty much saying pay to win.
The only thing you actually might need is scav.
Use iso every round except infect.
Use model on infect.
Use python/deagle every damn time.
Never ever ever camp EVER.
(unless u buy superarmor and go cbow noob)

ErebosGiant apparently looks down at quickscoping and instead uses the way of buying superarmor using cbow, buying scav, camping while jumping up and down and waiting for maps like 2fort to go "ham".
BUT, if you DIDN'T buy every gun and perk and c4 and nades, use iso and don't camp.

 

That depends on where you are camping.
