    Hello Community! While playing, I noticed that all guns have the same scope zoom. I don't think that a sniper rifle, (Which is meant for long range combat) should have the same scope zoom as a flame thrower or an SMG (Which are meant for short range combat) I think that we should vary it so that Snipers zoom the most, then rifles, LMGs, .44 Magnum, Deagle and the mini gun should have the medium scope and the m9, Glock 17, flame thrower, RPG 7 and the SMGs should have the least scope. This also prevents the .44 magnum and Deagle from basically being snipers. (Which you can use them as pretty effective ones)

    We can only do the length by so much. We use slowness for the zoom. Because of this it doesn't go so far.

    I think lmgs and the Minigun should have the worse zoom because they have the largest spread of bullets. You wouldn't really have a good or medium zoom with that kind of spread.

    I would like this. It is no to hard to code too its kinda like when you have speed and your screen goes out. So mess with the FOV settings and BOOM you got your self zoomed in Sniper Rifle :grinning:

    It's coders decision. Mc-War 2.0 will have this feature, as confirmed by a developer.

    I know that. but we can always change the slowness effect (There are slowness 1, 2 and 3)

    Krcoon he's talking about how far the scope should zoom in, not how fast you walk while zoomed.

    Let me explain scoping in Brawl Gun servers...
    When slowness is applied, your view zooms in a bit...
    Slowness 5 is what we use to scope now i think...
    Slowness 3 and 4 could be used for less scoping...
    Slowness 5 is the most scoped...

    The lower your movespeed, the lower your FoV, and so therefore the more you zoom in. There's a limit though, and I'm pretty sure we already hit it.

    We've hit the limit for most zoom...
    He thinks that we need to have some guns zoomed less... We're fine for now...
    It's very codable, just myortvye needs to want to implement it...

    If you want to zoom in more, you can download optifine. I don't know how it is on windows, but on mac you just press the ctrl button, and then you zoom in like crazy.

    My issue isn't enough scope, it's too much. I guess I didn't make that clear enough in my post. I just think it's kinda unrealistic to have the same scope on handguns and snipers. I'm aware of mods and third party programs, but I want it introduced to everyone. I've seen it done many times so it's very possible to do.

    This has also been suggested for mcwar, I'm bot sure if they will add it in mcwar 2.0 but it's a nice idea in my opinion. By giving a certain amount of slowness to a certain gun type it will make it more realistic. Some guns may be getting a bit too op, but that will be balanced later if implemented.

    I don't think you're understanding the reasons for these changes... Read it again carefully...
    It's just to make it more realistic, it would give no advantage. In fact, it would give SMGs a disadvantage...

    Yes... He wasn't talking about ADS time at all...
    Nobody talked about that but you...

    The speeds i was talking about were how we get the zoom to work in McWar, WarZ, and FPSHG...
    When a slowness effect is applied, your screen zooms.
    By going slower you zoom in more, the faster you go, the more you zoom out...
    That's what we've been talking about.
