Ideas for MC-War

    Couldn't spam the forum with ideas so here they are in one thread!

    1-Cooking and Throwing Grenades:
    So you are in your favorite sniping position. Suddenly, a grenade gets thrown up into your spot and you have nowhere to run! Good time to throw the grenade back......wait, you can't. BOOM! Think grenade throwing back should be a good idea to be put in MC-War. And grenade cooking.

    How it works: To make this work, we need 2 types of grenades. The un-primed grenade and the primed grenade. The slimeball (obviously) would be used for the un-primed grenade while the Magma Creme will be used as the primed grenade. So, as soon as the player right-clicks the grenade (slime ball) it primes it and becomes a primed grenade (magma creme). If the player just right-clicked it, it would have primed it and set in off it's 5 second journey of destruction. But, if the player held right-click, the grenade will prime but, in the player's hand. Now, the player has 5 seconds to throw it or else.....BOOM! The 5 seconds could be represented by the Boss Meter or the Durability Meter. I'd suggest Durability Meter but your choice guys.

    Anyway, now you have a grenade thrown into your perfectly good sniping position. Now time to throw it back! First, you need to be very close to the grenade, like right on the block it's on. Now, you should have picked it up. So the grenade is in your inventory but this does not stop the deadly countdown! You need to throw it back in order to ensure your safety.

    2-Remote Bombs!:
    C4 not your style? Bombs not going off when you want them to? Then look no farther! Here's the Remote Bomb, a bomb that can only be set off by you! Just plant it anywhere, run away, wait for a passing victim to come by, active the detonator, and boom! You can place it anywhere! You can troll your friends! You can have a blast! *laughing noises* Buy it today (if it gets implemented) in the MC-War store for only 100 per package of 2 bombs! *In fast speaking*: Note: Bomb automatically blows up if not detonated in 30 seconds. Bomb also can be set off by bullets, explosions, and other remote bombs. You've been warned.

    Neat advertisement, do you think?

    3-Gamemode-Elimination:
    This is a gamemode which is very quick and fun. The idea is this. It's like Onein with 3 lives, but you are backed up with teammates, your weapons (not just pistols), and must eliminate the other team before they eliminate your team! I suggested this idea long back but people might have long forgotten about it.

    4-Gamemode-Domination:
    Based on the Call of Duty gamemode, this gamemode has you trying to capture the 3 points on the map. One near red spawn. One near blue spawn. One near center. This mode is to be used only in future maps. I've also included screenshots below to show you how the process works:

    Here, we have me running to the point with white wool at first.

    After 80 ticks (4 seconds) the point has been taken over.

    Now we see here, a blue guy tries to take over the point:

    Final words for this idea: If a person is taking over a point but gets killed half-way, his progress stays there until another person comes by. Also, to identify a point to see if it's your's or the enemy's, a block corresponding to the team's color would be on the fence post. Similar to a flag.

    5:Better Infected Gameplay-
    Last idea. So it's kind of stupid how Infected is really like team-deathmatch and if the infected kills everyone but blue has more kills, blue wins. I'd like to see the system to change a bit. So here's how it works: If the resistance (blue team) survives (one guy left or more), the resistance wins. If the infected kills everyone, the infected wins. Simple as that.

    That's it for this thread, don't send hate, just suggestions. The idea I really want to be implemented into MC-War is the grenade idea. Anyway, that's it for this thread, Mike40L out.

    I agree with everything here, your ideas are very good and balanced. Btw, #4 is getting added in 2.0.

    all good ideas but i would like to see a little more change in #5 since thats how i have more deaths than kills like where blue can't spawn camp the the red team: the red team has a 10-20x10-20 "safe bubble" where the bullets(counting ray and law) and grenades get "killed" within that bubble.

    just an idea

    Control points have been in every decent fps, 3rd person shooter since battlefront

    It's called Attack/Defense and has a bit different system.

    Anyway, these ideas seem kinda fine. I believe grenade cooking has been suggested before.
    Remote bombs are C4s pretty much. If they were IEDs, then the deal would be different.
    Elimination has been suggested.
    Domination is being added.
    The infected in actual CoD works a bit differently.

    These ideas are great, I'm a little confused by Remote Bombs. The difference between c4 and those but I love it along with everything else. Really want to see the new game modes added

    Well from what I remember from the test server it's going to be using beacons, I kmow a server that used a plugin for capturing a territory like that making the wool change color.
