Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - I believe I am active all around. On the forums, I have gotten up to 500 posts and I am one the most active posters in the MinecraftParty section. On the servers, I have gotten my activity by one hour so, now I play 3 hours on the servers. I equally distribute my time on each server so I can be ready for Global Moderator. On Teamspeak, I have gotten on everyday that I am not on vacation. I usually talk with new players in the public rooms or, I make my own private channel with my friends. I am on Teamspeak almost everytime I play McBrawl.

Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? - I have submitted in total 4 rulebreaker reports. I also now frequently use the report button so that I can report a gravedigged thread or a flamed thread.


How old are you? - I am 13 years old and entering the 9th grade

What time zone are you in? - Eastern Standard Time (EST)

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I have been playing Minecraft since February 2013. I first started to play Minecraft on my iPad around December 2012. I heard about it from rumors around my school. At first, I thought it was a game for kids and that it should never be played by 7th graders. My brother then had the courage to download it on my personal iPad. I was mad at him at first and then I decided to open it up and play the game. I then started a survival world which I was first blew up by a creeper. Then in February 2013, I finally got my account which I named ryanhascorn. I then discovered servers and I was really pumped to see all these different variations of games on all these servers. Flash foward to September 2013, I have got my first staff position on a server. I became Moderator and learned the basic commands like /kick and /tempban. In November 2013, I dicovered MinecraftParty and McBrawl(then known as MPS) and I was hooked to all the fun each server had to offer! Around February 2014, I learned how to code with Java and Bukkit to make my own custom plugins. In May 2014, I joined the McBrawl forums and met any friends. I went on Teamspeak and discovered the Creative server. That is my brief history with Minecraft.

What is your experience with moderating servers? - I am now staff on two servers. One of which was called “The Maze.” I became a Moderator after the Owner said that I had been nice and fair towards the other players and then he said that he wanted me to become a Moderator. I was 12 at the time and had little knowledge about commands. The owner was kind enough to show me all the right commands for /kicking and /banning players. Around December, our server got a huge influx of people on and then we reached the big 50 at a time. I started to get more active and rightfully ban/mute players for their actions. Then around February, I got less active and never really got on again. Now, TheMaze is a very small server and is almost always shut down. I am also currently Admin on my friends server that I developed for him. We haven't fully released it yet but I cant wait to see what will happen. He named it FireFlowerMC

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - I will provide the server with another friendly moderator who will help anynody in need on MinecraftParty. I will try to stop any fights on the servers and resolve any trouble on the server. I would also try to stop any immaturity on the servers as well. I will report any major transgressions to higher staff and be a great person on the server.


Have you ever used a hacked client before? - No, I have never used a hacked client in Minecraft.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - I have been kicked for 3 days after arguing with a server owner. I was arguing about what plugins to get and the I was kicked for 3 days.


How active do you consider yourself in-game? - I consider myself active ingame. I will go on the servers for at least 3 hours a day. I distubute my time on each server but still spend a majority of my time on the Party servers having fun and teaching people how to play. I also try to resolve any fighting and to stop any trouble in the servers.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - I consider myself very active on Teamspeak. I mostly go into public rooms and make my own Private Channel called Coding Channel to talk with only my friends or if I just want to be alone for a bit.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - I consider myself a forums junkie with over 500 posts and counting. I constantly check my alerts and my conversations to update myself on what is going on in the community. I also have made a Party guide to help new players to Party. I have always tried to be a great member of the forums and to try not

What do you consider your greatest strength? - Calmness, I always stay calm in any situation. Even if someone is calling me a “Noob” or a “Skid” I will not say back “Well your even noobier.” I find this my greatest strength and I think it will help most if I obtain Moderator. It also helps

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - Being Negative, I find it really hard to make someone feel sad. It is just me because I have always tried to be friendly and if someone advertises, I feel like they deserve a second chance but I know it is against the rules. I feel so conflicted when it happens but I remind myself that they are breaking the rules and that I have to report them.


How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - I would warn them to stop breaking the rule kindly.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? - I would warn them more strictly about the server rules and how there would be consequences.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - I would kick them for ten minutes and tell them about what they did wrong if they come back on the server.


What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - I would acknowledge it and reply to the player “Thank you for correcting me, my mistake.”

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - If some one broke a major rule on the forums I would report the matter to a Super Mod or an Admin. If it was minor I would give the player a warning and lock the thread.

When would you lock a thread? - I would lock a thread if:

- The thread was Gravedug or Necroposted.


- The thread has turned into a Flame war.


- The creator has requested a lock.


- The thread was a duplicate or spammed


- The thread is gone off topic.


- The owner’s question was answered.

Anything else we should know about you? - Not really, no.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - First, I would take a screenshot for future reference. Second, I would ask the player how he got OOM. If the player responds how to get up there, I would report it in the Bugs/Glitches section in the War forums and tell the player to leave the lobby. If the player doesn't respond or does not come out, I would kick them for 10 minutes and explain why they were kicked from the game.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - Yes, as a staff member of two servers and knowing how to code Bukkit plugins, I understand how to use the basic /kick and /mute.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - I do realize, that if I dare abuse my powers against the members of the McBrawl community, I will be demoted and possibly banned from McBrawl.
