Nerf Flame thrower range

can someone show me a video of how far it shoots

The range is like that so you might pick up a kill. If he is trying to pull that off he will run out of ammo VERY fast.

It would be practically a minigun with foam bullets if it was nerfed to the ranged of the spas12.

 

Well, the range makes up for its lack of damage and accuracy. If one bullet hits you, it's complete luck, and there's no way it will get you below 6 hearts. Just think of a gun worth $5 that is like a fire spitter, if you will. It would only shoot about 10-15 blocks, the bullets would fall down, and make a few flames. Sounds bad, right? Well, that's exactly why we sacrifice all of the accuracy for the assault rifle-like range.

 

The flamethrower has terrible accuracy at range and does low damage as well. I don't see why the range should be nerfed, especially when there is almost no chance of someone sniping you with a flamethrower.

 

The damage just makes my cry, and the accuracy as well. I used it 1 round today, on summit, and it was directly hard to use because of the fire rate and low damage. I would really like to have it like it was before, because I have actually donated 5 bucks for it, and I think it's on the same lvl as the law is now. That's not very good.

 

I would like to see it shoot out actual fire and it can only shoot for like 64 seconds with a limited range.
That would be fun to see, although it would be a bit hard to balance.

 

Considering it's damage there's no point in nerfing it

 

Yea agreed no point in merging due to damage and accuracy, never really raged by someone using a flamethrower
