    So this goes out to all the Lord of the Rings fanatics out there, who have forever questioned why Gandalf and the fellowship didn't simply take the eagles to mordor and have the ring destoryed within a couple of days.

    I guess it's most likely just been thought up, but I still think it's a credable explanation for like the biggest (possibly only) plot hole in the Lord of the Rings
