    So right now im running on an overclocked modded 2008 macbook pro that gets me about 60fps in minecraft. Its an old computer, and ive saved up about 800$ this past year, any reccomendations for pc's?

    My computer ran bad because the router was in the basement. Literally.
    We moved it one inch or so away from the computer, it should get better sooooon.
    But yeah your computer is actually pretty insane c:

    Get one with an i7 processor and 8 gb of ram, my brother told me that those two specs are good combined.

    For Minecraft, you only really need a i5 processor or similar and 8 gb of RAM.
    However, if you're planning to play other games that are more intensive, a i7 processor would be better, as well as a good power supply for a powerful graphics card. I recommend going for a video card that works well with Battlefield 3, as that game has great, nearly unrivaled graphics.
    No specifics - you should make your own computer ^_^
