Life At The Top - Level 100+

Meh why don't people worship the old people :V Everyone that joined the forums before the 1 of september 2013 should be admired :3 #EnjnForums!

 

It's a great achievement for some, but not many nowadays. Now, in order to reach level 100+, most players donate double xp/MVP and use an OP donor gun such as a minigun to "earn" their way up to the top. I don't really count that as a great achievement if that's the only way they got to level 100, but for those who didn't do that, I salute them.

Anyways, it depends on what the player's personality is like. If he's a big egotistical rager, he'll most likely be afraid of the things you listed. But if you're mature and don't worry about your gameplay, it's basically the same thing as playing as a level 31 player. The only difference is probably being proud that you finally made it to level 100.

 

I guess this is where I come in.

Getting to that top level (happening almost a year ago) I can safely say this:
There's not much else to look foward too after you get that high.

The delusion most players have is that they think if they get to the highest prestige, they will be extremely satisfied and it will be completley worth it. But since you acomplished the goal you set to finish and have no other goal to reach, you are really just as happy playing as before, so getting all those high-1337-MLG stats mean literally nothing, and once you get that goal, however you do so with donator weapons or whatever, you're not going to really care much after the initial excitement. This is why I always try to have fun in this game rather than play for scores. I realized how silly I acted before trying to race to the top last year, and when I did, there was no real acconplishment. Most players would say, "there's nothing left to do, so I'll quit". There have been many players who have done this. I have not. After the excessive amount of play time I put in last year, I still enjoy this server as much as I did when I started. If I only cared about my stats, I would have quit long ago. I say this since to get this far you need to put in a lot of "effort" in a short time or just put in a lot of dedication over a long period of time, and you an get retty tired of something after doing it for so long.

I don't know were else to take this at this pont. My experiences with this server have gone downhill with the balance changes not fixed, and the excessive amount of players who want to broadcast their good scores who they deem bad because they are not above a 4.0 KDR after every match. That's is why I try to always try something different. I use the famas because it isn't as braindead as the skullcrusher. I use the aa12 because its fun to flank people instead of running at people aimlessly like with the minigun.

To all those rushing to get to the top, a message for you:
Take is slow sometime, and use a weapon such as the dragunov ot the spas12. You might find a whole new level of enjoyment you never thought about before.

 

When I got 100K kills and level 100 I sort of did a fist bump and smiled, not as great as I thought it would be.
Now my only goal is to reach a 4.0 KDR and maybe a 5 if I game for another year.

 

Now at level 100, you don't have much to do but support your clan and use some bad guns (dragonuv and m4a1 are awesome ^_^)

I think it really is a shame, as I have worked really hard getting to level 100 without spamming my donor guns. Now everyone has it because they can buy MVP, armor, and the crossbow.

 

What I personally think is a great achievement is to get a great KDR. Getting to level 100 is very simple with the Crossbow and MVP, which most people do these days.

 

Getting a 6.0 KDR with Crossbow and MVP is very simple too.

 

But that's the same as level.
Kdr can easily be boosted quickly with donor guns and mvp(to buy armor)

 

True I'm just stuck here with that excuse for a donor gun (law).

 

Only thing that really disappoints me, is that skilled players who have good KDR's are considered as spammers which can really quite be annoying for them when they really don't at all deserve it.

 

We called joeymast a spammer because he was.
We call people spammers who are spammers, and generally dislike MVPs because they are cheap.

 

I would need to stay afk for a day on mc-war #1 to make my kdr drop a single point.... so I'm definitely not scared that my kdr will drop.
I reached 100.000 kills, level 100, there is not too much left to do on Mc-War since I'm kinda sure I will never make it to 200k, so I'm just chilling playing some games sometimes, mainly moderating.

 

Nothing changes when you get to 100+, you only get called a no life.

I honestly don't care about my kdr, I just play the game but sure it's nice to see it go up rather than down.

Couldn't agree more. Worship the old people... I see tons of 100+ people that were never there when the law could hit through walls... Or when everyone had wool heads....

 

Oh the wool heads... I remember always trying to take mine off

 

I really don't fear anything on mc-war
