    McBrawl Moderator Application:

Before I answer these questions I would like to say a few things about my last application. So most of the players reading this should know that I was denied as a McParty moderator. I've learned a lot from this denial, I've also lost interest in party. McWar was one of the first servers I played on McBrawl.com, I was very active. When I came on war for the first time we had the rainbow parkour, at this time I had no clue how to buy guns and earn credits. However I grew in war and soon became very active, I still am. So in my last application I was using my iPad when typing my app. At the time I had auto correct on, I've had trouble checking over my 'work' in school and with typing. I was in such a rush I made some many typos, however in this app I will be taking it slowly. (May age is 13, in my last app it said 14. A big typo I missed, never checked it.) The keys on a iPad are so close. So this time I'm using my computer, and I'll make sure to check over my work a few times before posting. So legs get into my application.

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - I consider myself very active in all three of the fields, when I can't get to my computer I'm on the forums using my iPad. If I'm on the servers, I'm on the forums and the TeamSpeak server.

Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? - As said in my last application, I haven't kept track of how many rule breakers reports I've submitted. However when I see a player breaking a McBrawl rule, I report and inform the player what he/she did wrong.

How old are you? - I'm 13 years of age, I'll be turning 14 in April. (2015).

What time zone are you in? - My timezone is CST. (Central Standard Time).

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I've played minecraft since 2010, when I first played the game I was amazed on how it looked. I loved to play survival with my cousin @Beastlythang , minecraft became a daily thing for me. I loved to play and play. After awhile survival was boring, I had always wanted to play multiplayer but didn't know how to work it. I use my resources (Google) and found out how to work multiplayer. I created my own private minecraft server where I could build and play with other friends without needing to be in the same room. After a few months of playing on my own server I started to play on global servers. McBrawl was the first, at this time I didn't know it was called McBrawl. I just called it Mcwar, as said before I didn't know what to do at first. However after a few weeks I for the hang of it, I started meeting new players and playing daily. @Meltingangle and @Lord_Roke were my first two friends on war. This was way before lord had mod, I was also helping players on war that needed it. I was a good player, and I still am.

What is your experience with moderating servers? - I've been Admin on a shut down the server called JdCraft. It was a nice friendly server, my cousin (Beastlythang) told be about it. Even though it was small I became moderator and then admin on this server, the owner's name was Jordan. A really nice guy, I learned a lot about moderating on JdCraft, me and Beastlythang were never told why it went down. I was also moderator on a server called McZone, a bit bigger than JdCraft. However I retired almost a year ago I believe. I hop to become a helping McWarfare moderator.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - I will provide rule enforcement on McBrawl in a good friendly way, however when a player breakers a rule after I've warned them, I will five them the appropriate punishment in the correct manner.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - No I've not used a hacked client before, however I would like to know how one works, it would be good experience for catching hackers I think. However I've made the choice not to use one. I feel it's the wrong thing to do.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - Yes, I fact I've been banned from McBrawl before. It was a day on war, I was playing Mcwar and then I advertised a server. I wanted my friends from war to come play on it. Putty fought me and banned me from Mcwar. At first I didn't know what I did wrong, then I looked up 'advertising in minecraft' and found out what I did wrong. I knew what I did wrong and knew I could have done better. I bought an unban, ever since that day I've made sure to always read the rules before playing on a minecraft server, this was a few years ago and I believe I've grown more mature over those years.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - I believe I'm very active in game on Mcwar, I'm on for two hours or more in all three fields. (TeamSpeak, in game, and forums). As said before, when I'm on TeamSpeak I'm on the servers and forums.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - I would say out of all three fields TeamSpeak is one of the biggest. I'm very active on TeamSpeak helping and communicating with other players on McBrawl. I'm on TeamSpeak daily and in these days I'm on for two hours or more.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - I consider myself very active on the forums with a lot of helpful posts. In my last application I has 300+ posts around 301 to be exact, ever since then (one month) I've posted 400 more helpful posts on the McBrawl forums. I believe I'm very active on the forums, I'm always on when I have wifi.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I would say patience is my greatest strength, I have the ability to wait patiently. Anything that requires waiting I can handle, let's say I need to wait for a player to come back from eating before I help him. I can wait for him/she to come back and get the information he/she needs.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - Ignored players, when I try to warn a player not to break the rule and they are a ignoring me it kind of makes me mad. Because I'm trying to give them device to keep them from getting banned. But hey, if they don't listen and the tell everyone else I didn't warn him/she. I'll know their lying and they'll know that I warned them and that it's their fault that they got banned from McBrawl.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - I would tell them in a friendly way why they can't do this and what would happen if they continue to break the rule, and if they have any further questions remind them to just ask me or another staff member.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? - Because this is Mcwar I wouldn't give the a second warning, I would give the player the appropriate punishment and in the punishment I will say "Kicked for (rule that was broken)".

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - What I would do for the third time is take a screenshot/video of the player breaking the rule, report them and kick the player from the server and let an admin or SMod handle it from there.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - I would thank the player for correcting me and giving me the correct information. I wouldn't argue with the player and make it a flame war.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - I will report the player using the 'report' button below their post so an Admin or SMod can handle it, I would also tell the player what they did wrong so they know not to do it again.

When would you lock a thread? - I would lock a thread when the following happens:

    - Duplicated thread
    - Thread has gone off topic
    - Gravedug thread
    - The question as been answered
    - Flame war
    - Author has requested a lock
    - If a player is spamming on the thread

Describe yourself in 3 words: Helpful, serious, kind.

Anything else we should know about you? - Nope, I don't believe so.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - The first time the player goes out of them map, I will warn the player that he/she is breaking a rule and can reason a punishment they don't want. After warning the player I will ask them to come back into the map and show me how they got out. When/if they show me I will record or take screenshots and report this OOM on the forums. If the player does it a second time I will take screenshots or a video or the player breaking the rule and report him/her. After this I will kick the player from the server with the kick reason "Out of them map".

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - Yes, I know the basic commands and plugins and how they work.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - Yes I do realize if I abuse the powers of the moderator rank, my rank will be raking away. I will only use the powers of a moderator to enforce rules on McWar.

Please insert a Yes / No poll below.

Great app, mature from what I see, active-ish on forums, and active ingame. I don't see you on ts3 much though, and that's a problem. Work on Ts3 and you have my +1!

I'm currently on TeamSpeak, I'm on at least once a day. This maybe because of time zones, thank you ehvahn for your feedback.

I don't understand what you mean by "active-ish" I'm very active on the forums, however again I believe this is because of time zones.

Jayden definitely deserves mod on mc-war. He's been here forever and knows what he is doing.
    He:
    • Talks in live chat which few mods do anymore :/
    • Is active on TS
    • Is active on Forums
Overall, he is a great candidate! +1
