Hey guys it's Celx41 here with my 2nd thread on MineStrike. This one is about sharing some quick tips to all the MineStrike players. These tips to me are extremely simple things, yet I see people that struggle in games, and I believe that these tips may help them. Keep in mind these tips are completely optional and if you want to disagree, please explain why to help this thread be a better guide. I enjoy constructive criticism, but not criticism. Here they are:
#1 Round types
In MineStrike, when you buy a weapon, you do not keep it forever, and put a camo on it, and a muzzle brake and a red dot sight. No. You buy it, and if you die, you lose it. If you die and lose it, you lose all the money you spent on the gun. When you lose all the money you spent on a gun, you can't afford that gun the next round and are left crying with a P2000. Don't get caught crying with a P2000. Manage your money wisely.
The most stupidest dumbest horriblest thing that I keep seeing is people buying an AK-47 on the second round and then dieing and having absolutely no money and then crying with a P2000. Instead of gambling all your money on the fact that your team will win and you will get 10 kills with your AK-47, try to SAVE UP your money so that if you die in a round, you won't be left crying with a P2000- instead you can buy another good gun and get more kills.
The professional term for saving up your money in the rounds after the first round is "Eco rounds", as in being economically smart. In other words, money smart. Manage it correctly.
To wrap this all up, just don't buy an AK47. Buy an SSG if your a sniper, or a sawed off if you are good with one, or an MP7 if you like autos. Low cost weapons will not affect your money loss as much when you die, and will also give you more money per kill. Now that you have grasped the thought of Round Types, let's move on:
#2 The Bomb
The Bomb is a CRUCIAL part of MineStrike that is overlooked 9/10 times. It angers me when the bomb carrier goes Rambo in the middle of a map with his Negev and then dies, leaving the bomb in "no man's land" and preventing the terrorists from retrieving it and planting it.
What you need to do as a terrorist is PLANT THE BOMB. Your goal is NOT TO KILL EVERYONE, it is to plant the bomb. You have a higher chance of planting the bomb successfully versus killing the entire enemy team.
So use that to your advantage. Plant the bomb. If you are the bomb carrier, please be smart, and always have someone ahead of you. ALWAYS.
If you pick up the bomb after purchasing a sniper, don't be a, dare I say it, dumb-butt and try to plant it. Just give it to someone else and do your job as a sniper: support the team from behind your lines.
When you do plant the bomb, make sure to guard it at all times and costs. A defuse will cost you the game regardless of how many players your team has left. So make sure to prevent it from being defused.
Another quick thing is detonation. If you are within a certain radius of the bomb when the timer hits zero, you can be injured and/or die. This means you lose all of your weapons and gear which sucks. To avoid this, run away as soon as the timer hits the 10 second mark, because it will take the counter-terrorists 10 seconds to defuse it. That way you save your precious gear and hopefully live!
That pretty much wraps that part up.

True, but sometimes the deagle doesn't really stand as great versus other weapons such as an AWP or AK-47. And then again, you probably can't afford smokes or Kevlar to go with the deagle, this you don't really support your team as much as you could.
But if you are great with a deagle, you should be able to afford it every round if you really liked it. so you do have a point.

 

I will quickly apologize for not making these optional, to me it seemed like any tips are, I am not forcing you to listen to me, but I will add that in.
It is smart to run away from the bomb after the 10 second mark of the detonation, should've added that in, my apologies. But I still believe that planting it is the best thing to do. It pressures the enemy, it gets you kills, it is something that I believe people should be more aware of. And then again, you state that you do buy an AUG or Ak-47 as soon as possible (Shame on you!) and that to me is gambling your cash on the fact that you will win, which to me isn't smart. I myself rarely die, and although I am skilled at MineStrike, I feel like I shouldn't bargain my abilities, instead I should choose the smartest option. Another thing: This IS a guide for "newbz" (The title is "Kwik Tipz 4 Newbz" ) as in, players who are new and inexperienced at MineStrike. You say that you rarely die, so you are not a newb, therefore this thread doesn't exactly apply to you. But this thread was meant to help people individually with simple things that will go a long way. I do understand your points, but I would still rely on my methods if I had to choose.
