Idea Remove Compass

    Why? Hackers are using it as an excuse to use NameTags and Tracers.

    Compass does not show your Y: Cords.

    So them running from the side and upstairs to exactly where you are hiding when you been crouching before they even came to vision.

    how I know? I was crouching and checking my surroundings when suddenly a guy nametag shown through the wall. Not only did he skip the basement floor he ran straight to me to an unbroken window. broke it and instantly shot a sniper rifle at my leg/body and I fell and died from fall damage.

    Please do research, if a thread is similar to this one.

    On topic: I personally think they're fine, it would be hard to locate players without them. They make the game more fun to play I feel, and are causes of really awesome fights. :smile:

    use (f3 A) on mac (fn f3 A) it lets u reload chunks allowing you to see players for a brief amount of time. And compasses show you exactly where the person is so if the end up running past you it will turn around, anyone smart will just follow it to your exact location.

    Without a compass it would be close to impossible to find an enemy. I would not find any entertainment out of having to run around for twenty minutes in order to find someone to fight. At the same time, being ambushed would be incredibly easy. If compasses were removed, a huge majority of the community would complain.
    At the same time, removing them would give hackers one of the biggest advantages. It may just cause some people to turn to hacks in order for the game to be entertaining to them once more.

    So you are saying that remove compass so Nametag and Tracers are even more OP and more people will get them?
    Also, I doubt people use nametag and tracers BECAUSE of the compass, so if you remove it you are causing yourself more problems.
