    So, I have been seeing lots of rants saying "Mods stay on one server" and "Mods should spread out". Well I have a solution.

    The Trusted
    What do you do as a trusted member?
    As a trusted member, you will have a say in the bans, and be able to mute people. You are the mods sidekicks, and will help them focus on members who are being bad. You aren't really a mod, but a sorta helper and a person who will help with the bans.
    How do you become a trusted member?
    Trusted members are chosen by staff members in a vote. A staff member has to vouch for the player and then he will be put into a vote where only other staff members can vote for them. If a staff member chooses a bad member as a trusted member, they will pay dearly. Becoming a trusted is like a trial moderator except without any commands.
    Why do we need a trusted member?
    We need a member who has a big say in this community. A member who can help this community grow, and flourish. A trusted member can help this community A LOT. Thank you.

    Yes.
    Most of the members in the community are basicly muted because nobody cares about them,

    This idea has been suggested before. Although I have no problem with the idea and you never know what could happen this time around.
    The helpers should only be able to mute for a limited time.

    This is a very interesting idea. I quite like the concept of having a staff member nominate a player they think worthy of this rank. Would the player be considered staff?

    Thanks, and no, they would not. More like a helper in the community, not a full time staff member.

    Makes sense to me. For the mute time, I don't think 5 minutes is long enough. What about 15 - 20 minutes? Would the player get a tag on the forums and TS?

    They would get a tag like the wiki tag on ts and the forums, and 15-20 minutes is good.

    yes.. just.. yes..

    some people are very active ingame (more then SOME OF THE MODS) and giving them this rank will help the servers out a lot! giving them mute and a kick command is what they need.

    but when are they trusted enough?

    i'd say this.
    if the person has reported someone (not a confirmed ban), is online quite a bit and is friendly. the person can get this rank from mods and higher players

    Would be helpful.
    Would they have to meet the requirements of moderators too?
    Because I know many people that hate TS3, but are pretty good otherwise.

    No, not necessarily. TS3 wouldn't be a huge concern, mostly in-game activity.
