    When I was playing minestrike I tries to sprint or dash but you walk or move SO slowly. This is really annoying so should there be a feature of you being able to dash. The iron sword doesn't do too much.

    This feature is here because this server is based on a game called Counter Strike, where "sprinting" is not available either. It is there to keep the server as similar to the basis as possible.

    Believe it or not, sprinting wasn't always an option in Minecraft. During the beta, before 1.8, you couldn't sprint. But like rainy said, Minestrike is based off of counter strike, so it wouldn't make sense to add a core feature that isn't in CS.

    Also, if you want to move faster, use your sword. It gives you a speed boost. (You would know that if you used the cs resource pack, it says so when you open your inventory).

    Do not hold Heavy Guns like Negev, AWP ect. in the Hand while traveling they are slowing you down alot. Use a Sword or a Sidearm to get better walking Speed.

    Hold the sword to move faster.
    You cannot sprint in Counterstrike, therefore you cannot in Minestrike.
    It's a game feature, and wont be removed unless there is a good reason to.
