    McBrawl Mod Application:

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - Yes, I am active on all 3 branches.

I first joined Mc-War around 2 years ago when I was scrolling down the PlanetMinecraft server list, I remember joining and going on the Rainbow parkour. As the months and years went by I learned many things, gained friends and got more skilled. I love helping players in anyways such as answering questions and other problems. I try to help every player I can to the best of my ability.

Later on I found the website, it was an amazing site. I remember setting up my profile and meeting more players on the forums. I started to get more and more active, and eventually created a goal of becoming moderator one day. As I got more information I started to answer questions to help more players on the forums and just greeting players and reminding/introducing them the forum rules.

As for teamspeak was the last requirement that I found. It was really amazing to hear my close friends voices and helping players. Teamspeak is really amazing I am really active and love chatting with friends and new people and helping them. I get on teamspeak daily and I am usually on most when I'm playing minecraft so I can talk and help other players while playing.

Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? - I have been keeping track on how many rule breakers I have reported in one of the applications on my computer, WordPad. I have reported around 15 players, most had enough proof for ban or temporary banned. I try to deal with the player ingame by telling them to do /spawn or suicide (If Possible) before reporting them, to make it fair. Most of the players didn't listen so I reported them.

Which server are you applying for? - Mc-Warfare

How old are you? - 13

What time zone are you in? - Pacific Timezone

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I was first introduced to minecraft around 3-4 years, I went to my best friends house and saw him on his computer, I read ''Minecraft'' and asked him what it was, and he said ''Check it out and see''. It was love at first site. I started playing and didn't know how to play at all, I was a complete noob. The experience was amazing. Not like most players, I started playing on a mulitplayer server named ''EpiCraft'' it was a nice 300+ survival server. I learned most of my minecraft from Aussie server, I learned how to protect regions, permissions and building (I don't build anymore). I quit the server after player 2 years on it.

During my 2nd year playing on that server my friend told me how to get a fast and strong minecraft server using a host. I checked out the host, It was really cheap only $5.00 so I bought it and started playing. While playing I checked out the console and ''Adventured'' I learned about plugins and how they can make the server more better than it already is, I first got the plugin named ''Essentials'' because I read the description saying ''Provides an essential, core set of commands for Bukkit.'' and I thought it's what I needed on my server. Then I got a plugin based upon ''Avatar The Last AirBender'', because at the time I was into those kind of things. kept the server up for 8-10 months.

What is your experience with moderating servers? - I would first like to say that I lost all my proof of being owner or moderator of any server due to a factory restore to my computer which removed all my screenshots like stated above.

I started out as a moderator for my friend's server which was a small but strong server. It is down due to lack of donations, the server had great players and all just they didn't have money to donate. The server lasted for 2-3 month. I learned many things during those months such as /ban /kick etc.. most of the things on how to moderate servers. As more players started to join the server, I learned how to deal with hackers, spammers and advertisers. I also learned how to tell if a player is lying or hacking depending on how fast they answer or how they play.

Later on after my friends server when down he told me how I could create my own server which would cost only $5.00 a month using a host, I checked the host and I liked it. I bought the server and started to play and figured out what plugins were. Since I was still young back when I got my first server, I still like ''Avatar The Last AirBender'' series so I wanted to get a plugin like so. I found the plugin, and started to play it. Then I later on published the server to 2 Minecraft Server Lists ''Minecraft-Server-List'' and ''PlanetMinecraft''. 15 minuets later there we're lots of new players joining, many of them asking for staff, spamming and also advertising. I learned how to deal with it as an owner of a server. Learning permissions and other region settings for server was pretty difficult but I eventually became pro, I kept the server up for 8-10 months and earned some money to keep the server up.

After creating my server I tried going on other servers and later on became moderator. During on my time as a moderator on different servers, I became more mature as a person in-game.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? -
As a moderator I won't just be an ordinary player anymore. I'll be a player there to help, a player to solve problems on the server. I believe that I can help the community become more efficiently protected from Advertisers, Glitchers, and Hackers.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes, I examined a couple of hack clients which I don't know what they we're named other than XRay, it wasn't on my computer it was on my cousins, he installed a bunch of them and showed me. I tried to examine on how players would use it and how you could tell that their using it.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - I've been banned on Mc-War for a reason that I haven't committed. I was banned for charge back on raygun. The truth behind it was a friend donated raygun for me and then charged back so I was the one who got banned, so I had to buy and unban. Honestly I don't think this should effect my chance of being moderator of the server. I haven't been banned on any other server, I try to be a good and kind player.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - My activity in-game is one of the strongest area where I'm most strong and active on. I play around 3-6 hours a day during the summer. That 2-6 hours will change to about 1-4 Hours a day due to the up coming school year. I am really active in-game, I also help in-game with every problem I can fix and questions I can answer. Some players in-game also wanted to see me as a moderator to help them more and because I was a great player that really encouraged me to become moderator.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - I almost have the same amount of hours I play in-game with teamspeak because most of the time when I'm playing on Mc-War or any other McBrawl server, I'm on teamspeak as well. I love meeting new players and helping them out, also knowing a close friends voice that I've never heard before. I'm getting more and more active every single day.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - I'm really active on the forums. considering that I have 950+ posts. I am usually on 2-4 hours a day total. My forums activity shouldn't be affected by the up coming school year because I have my cellphone and I am usually on. I usually check the forums after most of my Mc-War matches and if I simply decide to do /spawn and sit out that game.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I have many strengths, having knowledge of the server is just one of the many strengths I have, I can answer most questions players ask me because I've been playing for a long time also multiple questions at a single time. I've gotten a lot of information from retired moderators who we're my close friends and also some players in-game. My second second strength is knowing people and being able to adapt. What I mean by this is, I'm easy to get along with and can adapt to a new environment like the new Mc-War generation. A lot of players call other players ''Noobs'' and ''Hackers'' by simply reminding them that if someone kills you doesn't mean they hack. When I say that knowing people is one of my strength is to have players back me up on problems and also

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - Having more evidence for a report. I say this because I when I report players, I only use screenshots. Videos are more efficient proof reports.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - I would tell he/she that what he/she is doing, is wrong. (First Warning)

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? -I would tell he/she again that what he/she is doing, is wrong again. (Second Warning)

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - I would /kick [Player] [Reason],

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - I would act surprised because all that time I was thinking of incorrect information and possibly telling other players some of the false information. Then I would accept that I was incorrect to not start a flame war and then I would learn from my mistake. I would also correct other players who are wrong about something on the forums.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - Depending on how big the rule that they break, even so any rule broken deserves a check if it was purpose or unknown. I will PM the player and tell him/her what she did wrong and not to do it again. If she/he does it again, I will report it to a S-Mod and the S-Mod will deal with the player.

When would you lock a thread? - When the few problems accrue:

    - Grave Digging
    - Question Answered
    - Flame War
    - Pointless Thread
    - Requested by Creator
    - Already Suggested
    - Completely Off-Topic
    - Duplicate Thread

Describe yourself in 3 words: Mature, Skilled, Helpful

Anything else we should know about you? - Birthday : December 16, 2000.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - (I'm assuming that I am dealing with the problem with the power I currently have)
First I would tell he/she to please suicide or do /spawn. If he/she doesn't listen I would say, I have screenshots of you out of the map. Would you like to be reported? If he/she still doesn't get out of the map I would report.

If I was a moderator dealing with the problem I would handle it differently, I would handle it like so. I would first give them they're first warning ''[Username(s)] Please get back in the map.'' if he/she doesn't listen I would give a second warning with a more firm tone ''[Username(s)] This is you're last warning or you will get kicked. Get back in the map.'' Then I would /kick the player.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? -
I know how most of the plugins work except the coded plugin that the staff created. From what I've understood from retired staff is /fp [Command] . I was never really able to get enough information. I've always seen players saying "Do /fp nuke free kills!'' and I know it kicks you, I know that /fp is for changing maps, I don't really know more commands.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? -
Yes, I understand that if I abuse my power it will be taken away. I also realize that if I don't use my power in the correct way to help the players and the server out it will also be taken away. Being a moderator is a big responsibility that is supposed to be taken seriously.

Please insert a Yes / No poll below. (Added)

Yes, it took me a while to think and correct my grammatical errors, there may be more I didn't catch so I'm continuously checking.

Alright let's go over this, your in-game activity is good, forums activity is good, long nice detailed application even with the grammar mistakes. The only problem I see is teamspeak, I think teamspeak really shows how you really are around other players and how much you really help players. I personally have never seen you on the teamspeak, this could be because of time zones. I'm going with +0 for now. Improve your teamspeak activity and your all set.

I see you on all the time, you maybe just don't notice me, I've been on this whole week. Maybe it's because the channels were in, I'm usually in my own channel or Mc-War's. But thanks for the feedback!

Hello, I am extremely sorry because i gave you a -1 by accident. I was on my phone and it decided to start playing up and it won't let me take away my vote.
The application was long and detailed which is fantastic, your in game activity is decent but theres a hiccup with teamspeak. I don't think you're active enough on teamspeak (could be timezones) when I do see you, you're mostly in a private channels, try coming out of that shell and say hello to the world  You are really active on the forums which is good!
    Application: +1
In-game: +1 (try being on more though)
    Forums: +1111
    Teamspeak: -1
    Overall: +1

    Good luck!!

Its probably due to timezones I usually am in a publish channel, unless I'm talking with certain friends. Thanks for the support!
