Minecraft Murder Guide

This is a general guide about everything you should know if you play McMurder.

Introduction​

Minecraft Murder is a Server based on the famous gamemode Murder from Garry's Mod and coded by @ImNooburt.
You can connect to the McMurder Servers via the direct IP 1-3.minecraftmurder.com, through the game menu in hub or by typing /play murder 1-3 on any McBrawl Servers.

When you join the server, you will be in the lobby. If a game is currently in progress, you will need to wait until its done and a new round starts. There is a break of 30 seconds between every game.

Game Start
​

When the round begins, you will get teleported to the map. There are several spawns on the map, so not all players are at one place. You will also have a bossbar with the most important information.




The name is your new nickname, that means its the name above your head, your name in chat and you will also have the skin of this player. Bystander, Armed Bystander or Murderer is your role for this round.
The health of the bossbar will constantly go down, when its empty the round is over.



On the scoreboards you can see more informations.
Time: The time in seconds until the game is over if neither the murderers nor the bystanders win
Players left: How many players are alive including murderers and armed bystanders
Murderers: The number of murderers alive
Murdered: The amount of murdered players in this round

Depending on your role, you have different subjects:

Bystander​

Bystander is the most common role and as one, your job is to find the murderers and report them to the Armed Bystanders so they can kill them. You only get a compass that points at the nearest player and you can't hit other players. You can also collect Clues (Emeralds), they spawn randomly around the map. When you collected 5 Clues, you get a pistol with ammunition and are now a Armed Bystander.

Armed Bystander​

Armed Bystanders are advanced Bystanders. They have a pistol with 16 shots ammunition that onehits other players. Their job is to find and kill all the murderers. If they shoot and kill a Bystander, the Bystander and the Armed Bystander who shot him die. When a Armed Bystander dies, his weapon drops on the ground and Bystanders can pick it up to become Armed Bystanders. There are as many Armed Bystanders as Murderers.

*Goal is to survive, find and kill all murderers.

Murderer​

The Murderers are the opponents of the Bystanders. They spawn with a Diamond Sword that gives them a Speed Boost if they are holding it. They have to kill all Bystanders and Armed Bystanders to win the round and if they don't kill a bystander for 2 minutes, their name is announced in chat. Compared to the amount of Bystanders there are only a few Murderers, so they need to play tactical. Murderers can also collect clues, when they got five their nickname changes.

When either all Murderers or Bystanders are dead, the round is over.
